Do you prefer to play 1 game or skip as many as you can?

I feel kind of weird in that i like to have a 'main' game, and a 'background' game on the go- generally the 'main' one will be a shorter, focused experience, which i can play through and enjoy thoroughly, whilst the 'background' one is something that might have a longer play-time, or perhaps has a reasonably short main story and then long post-game content.

It's like i'm insecure, and i have to have some kind of gaming safety blanket in the background, so that i'll never feel that i have nothing to play, and will always have something to fall back on. That's weird, right???
