Ticked:
(INCOMING RANT)

1.Had to babysit 3 grown men today :P. Plus we were all stuck painting chain link fences and snow plows for around 8 hours. After multiple days of having to supervise these idiots I finally just gave the hell up. I get paid minimum wage and I'm tired of doing my supervisors job.
Th end result was two geniuses sat around all day sharing a single standard paint roller with a mini pad made for a mini paint roller. They were tasked with simply painting the front of the plows yellow, but what do they do... give the freaking plows custom paint jobs. They also destroyed one of the few good brooms in the garage to make an extended handle so that they could paint without getting out of their chairs. Now what were freshly painted blue plows are now covered in a variety of yellow patterns many with custom writing :X. To make matters worse the geniuses left all of their painting supplies outside for me to pick up, but I just said "%$^%$ it". They are grown men most of whom are 5+ years older then me I'm finished with babying them and doing their jobs if they want to shit where they eat its fine by me.

2. After finishing half the fence line(around a quarter of a mile both inside and out) we took a break. During that break my "supervisor" dropped by. He asked how things were going and I told him we had finally managed to finish half the fence line and were about to move onto the other. He seemed somewhat confused and kept asking me for the specifics of everything since he has been to busy with crosswords to actually check out our work. So after telling him for around the fiftieth time that we had completed everything top to bottom aside from the bob wire(which is pointless its rusty and jagged, out of our reach, and shreds anything it touches including gloves/hands) he comes around and says "oh maybe you should touch up the barbwire too someone said something about that a while ago"........ FML.

3. My brother nearly died while we were painting. We were painting the outer side of the fence in the ditch line along side a somewhat busy road. While we were working traffic got backed up thanks to a nearby traffic light. So along comes an escalade speeding down the road with one of the many crappy drivers which plague my area. We don't know if he got distracted by our shinny uniforms, a cellphone, or what but he came barreling towards the backed up traffic and slammed on his brakes while steering into the ditch line. He finally managed to stop about 5 feet off the side of the road within 3 feet of my younger brother literally right on top of his paint bucket. If traffic hadn't started moving I would have pulled this idiot out of the car and most likely beaten him senseless. Both he and I are lucky that didn't happen.

4. My SNES adapter still hasn't arrived or for that matter even left the sellers facility. Ordered it 19 days ago and have lost all patience with the seller. Lets just say his feedback review is going to use every character I can get in the submission window. What makes me even more angry is he already paid for shipping he just hasn't spent the 5 minutes it would take to package the item and throw it in the mail box.

:) Went to graduation.

:( Its bothersome that most of my bros are leaving. I still have quite a few people to hang out with, but it will be a bit lonely without those guys. Plus, nobody will be around to give me advice on women... ahh well.

Heh, all of my high school friends left town a long time ago. I still keep in touch with them, but yeah.

Don't worry about it, you'll make other friends through work and such.

No, they graduated, I'm still in school. Don't know if you caught that.

Also, in general, I think its a bad idea to make friends through work. Not any kind of good idea. Plus, seeing my personality and my preference of where I would live, I probably won't have many friends when I move away from home.

You did say "went to graduation," thought you meant you were all graduating and your friends were moving. If they're still in town... what's the problem? You can just go visit them or whatever.

Didn't you say before that you were still looking for your first job or something?

I honestly don't see what the problem with making friends at work would be anyway. You see these people nearly every day, and with work friends you have people you can rely on for the occasional ride, covering your shifts, etc.

I would love to hear why making friends at work is "not any kind of good idea." You act as if it's self evident or something.

Suck it up and deal with it:

Brother-in-law's wedding stuff starts this coming Friday. Told him o call me, no answers, so I guess no bachelor party for him. You always want to give the guy a week of rest after a bachelor party, and that ship has sailed.

Trust me, I won't complain to anyone but you guys. Expect a bad time, and you're going to have a bad time. Make the best of a bad situation, and you cheer up the ones around you.

That said, I'm doing my best to not expect a bad time, but it is difficult. An outdoor wedding in mid-June in a three piece tux, and the weather calls for nearly 90 degree weather, rain, or both. I could give two shits about the terribly bad and shiny tux shoes (which I didn't purchase, and why do people insist on those cheap shoes for such an occasion?) but if my tux gets ruined due to terrible planning, I'll have to try every trick in the book to get a refund.

Keeping my big boy pants on, wearing a smile for my wife, and that's all I can do.

I'm also placing a bet that there will be ZERO diversity in the people who attend. 100% white people is a safe bet on this one.

It bugs me when people are so non-committal, or committal-only-to-bail-at-the-last-minute. The band has a show tonite and several of my friends have been texting me with "im gonna try to go" or "I think I can make it."

Look, I know that "Johnny's punk band" is not the most important aspect of your weekend. I get that, and I accept that. What bugs me about it is that they instill this ridiculous hope/happiness that some of my friends will come out and check out what I have a passion for.

One of my friends loves to bead, along with the wife. I think beading is ridiculously useless, but when they have a little bead art show, I'll go check em out. If I actually cant go, or just plain don't want to, I tell them that I can't make it. I don't say "I'm going for sure!!" or "yeah ima try to make it this time!" and then not show up. And then I find out they just sat in their pajamas at home.

Don't fucking do that. If you dont wanna come, say so. Its not gonna hurty my feewings. What pisses me off is when you say you might or you will - and don't.

One of the excuses I got today was "I dont like driving downtown."

BITCH YOU WORK ON SOUTH CONGRESS AND 6TH!

ON SATURDAYS!
