Klonoa Wii-make to reduce price/demand for PS1 original?

Post by RadarScope1 »

What do you guys think?

I bought a black-label copy of Symphony of the Night a few years ago for about $45, and since then the price has gone down considerably. I watched the price for the better part of a a year or two and it never went up or down by much, so I figured I was paying a fair price. Today it's much lower, and I'm sure the easy access to DL versions on PSN and XBLA is a big reason why. Here's the price tracker:

About the same for Rez and Ikaruga (though not as pronounced). I don't regret buying SOTN because I wanted it for my collection, but I'm wondering if this remake would present an opportunity to get Klonoa for cheaper later.

I picked up Symphony of the Night, black label, for $40, so the price hasn't gone down too far. Klonoa is sure to drop some, but not a whole lot. Look for a few collector's looking to dump their copies in the meantime and try to lowball them, citing the Virtual Console release. Hopefully it can work for you.
