I finally got ahold of the funeral home after almost 2 weeks with no answer from them i find out the pastor picked the death certificate and ashes up. Now i have to fight to get mom buried and the estate settled. I went to walmart and witness a accident some old guy sped through a handicap space and t-boned a 71 yr old woman then pulls into the parking spot he tried to beat her to.
I was kind enough to call for help and make sure she was ok and had a way home.
Wow.

I'm really sorry, Cookie. About all of that.

Wow you've been having a couple of rough months. Hope things start looking up soon. Let us know how your niece is doing.

Damn, cookie. You've had a rough couple of months.

You have my greatest sympathies regarding your family issues. Half of my mother's family pretty much disintegrated after my grandfather died. My mother barely talks to two of her siblings. One of them even said some stuff about me. It was just painful all around.

It got so bad that my uncle, a man who is not known to show much emotion but who went through a very similar thing with his family, actually got up and gave my mom a hug and told her it would be okay. I was very surprised.

Hang in there.

Ticked:
Official SNES power adapter still hasn't shown up. Its been in transit to the post office since May 21. Ordered through amazon so he still has till the 11th to get it to me before I can file a claim :P. Have sent him multiple messages asking if he has shipped it yet and received no response :P. What a crummy seller.

Ditto what everyone above me said. :(

Stuff like that scares the living crap out of me. We plan on leaving my daughter with my parents while we're on vacation, so they can get some spoiling time and we can go out and see a movie for a change. However, I probably won't be able to relax and enjoy the movie without my daughter there...
I had to stay behind last x-mas while the went back to visit family, and I thought I was going to go insane with her so far away. I've always loved being completely alone in a quiet house/apartment/room. I really don't mind locking myself inside for months at a time, but without her there it feels too weird.

:D Just cause.

:( Thought tonight was my last night of work before the weekend. Nope...

:? Keep forgetting to charge my PSP, but at least I have my GBA with LeafGreen.

 Somebody two cubicles over from me fell asleep and is snoring extremely loud...

Smiled - This weekend I am going down to Auburn and get to show my wife the campus with one of my good friends. Saturday we are going to a lake near there for a different friends Wedding Shower, and Saturday night we will be playing Sunset Riders in 4 player with Ack and some others.

Ticked - Even though I know they are gone, it still hit hard to think she wont get to see the Toomers Oaks because of a damn fanatic.

Frown: Loose lips sink ships.

Got a call from my buddy who just went through a break up, and the house he's living in is being foreclosed. "Did you tell Angela the house was being foreclosed?".

I did.

What happened was my wife and I went to visit Angela at her new place and she asked about Andy. I said that he was doing fine but that I worry about him. Not to throw my wife under the bus, but she said "You might as well tell her". I said "None of anyone's business". My wife's retort was "Well, you pretty much let the cat out of the bag". So I said, "The house where Andy is living might be going through a foreclosure".

Smile: Andy told me he wasn't at all "mad at cha", just wanted to know how his ex found out.

It's not in my nature to spill the beans, and although Andy doesn't care and I shouldn't either, I still do. Nothing I hate more than a gossiper (I'm lying. I hated the new Gatsby movie more than gossipers) and I live by a strict omerta, so I'm a little disappointed in myself.

Eh, the feeling of guilt will pass in a few hours but I still feel like a jerk.
