Together RPG - SRPG Shining Force 2

I've been playing Shining Force 1 and 2 on and off since they originally came out, they're my favorite Strategy/RPGs. As was said previously make sure the healers use their MP every battle. Even if they heal someone at full health, they still get 10 exp. My current playthrough I just got Slade and Sarah is already level 40 (which is the pre-promotion level cap).

Kiwi is always sad. His high Defense is an asset early on, but unless you do a lot of saving before he levels and keep resetting to try to get HP his health is always insanely low, which is a problem when his Defense levels off and is on par with the rest of the team, and by when a good spell pretty much will always pop him (can take 2 by the end game, but still).

As for the inventory problems early on, you can sell the Mithril for now, then buy it back later under the Deals section in store. It'll only show one Mithril, but if you buy it it'll stay in stock until you buy every one you sold.

I'm actually playing the first game currently. I never got into the third one, probably because I've never played more than 10 minutes of it because of it's rarity.

Kiwi is just so hard to train, I wasted a lot of time on him and I just gave up. I really should pick my file back up, SF2 is pretty awesome for its time.

Heh well i tried that first as thats what the guide suggested, but I guess my dps was too low and the dark bishops kept healing him. So I did it the hard way and killed everything on the board.

That's pretty impressive lol. I'm surprised you couldn't go all in and kill the King, what you did is way harder.

Checkmate! It took me two tries to win on the chessboard. Once the King got involved in the battle, I sent everybody I could after him.

I had a busy weekend with no gaming. How is everyone else's progress coming along?

The King came running out after me and as soon as I surrounded him with the heavy hitters, it was over.

I never intend to kill the king directly, I have always tried killing everything else first, but no matter what I do I always seem to aggro him and he will rush halfway across the map to target someone, and then at that point he usually kills them so I go into revenge mode and swarm him

This happens to me as well. So I just say oh well and kill him and move on haha
