PC Interact Hammerhead FX SV-262 - $3.33
One of three items I bundle bought at ten bucks. A nice Playstation Dualshock inspired controller that uses an older PCs gameport. No luck on getting it to work with a USB adapter, the Hammerhead needs its own unique driver which works only thru a retro PC Gameport.

PC TrackMan Portable Mouse T-SC3-6MD $3.33
The second bundle deal item. Very compact trakball designed to clip to the side of the Laptop. I'm batting a thousand, this did not work either even when direct plugged into the PS/2 port of the PC. I suspect the cord is bad, will have to take apart and run an OHM meter.

Genesis Toe Jam Earl - $5.00 $3.34 Swap Meet
And the third item that I bundled. At first the seller wanted five bucks for it, so I asked how much including the two items above. I think he already knew I was hinting at three for ten. :D

For Toe Jam Earl, I get hints of a Rouge style play in this game evidenced when the Map is viewed and moving thru the level to collect things. Works just fine with the 80 Game Genesis PlugnPlay.

PS2 Rockband 1 and 2 - $2.50 each Swap Meet
I keep adding inexpensive music game discs to the supplement the Guitar Hero Guitars I aquired. So far at least the cost is very reasonable. Someone please stop me before I buy the drums! Both of the Rockband games CIB, Rockband 2 even had a game related ad inside for energizer batteries. Even that ad flyer adds to value not money wise, but another thing inside to look at. I count it as a nice extra as in Gamecube game specific flyers for Nintendo Power.

Xbox Tecmo Classic Arcade - $5.00 Thrift Store
Ooooh Yeah! Even though not the best of Tecmo, an exclusive just to the original Xbox. A must buy that am very happy to find inexpensive locally.

Xbox Halo 2 Limited Collectors Edition - $5.00 BookOff
No outer sleeve, but otherwise CIB inside. Tin box is battle hardened not pristine, but the insides are crisp new. Mine has the single thick 2 disc holder instead of the dual holders some editions have. The second disc is a DVD with a very indepth look at Halo 2 with a making of video and art galleries.

Radio Shack Joystick 26-3008 - $5.00 Pair Swap Meet
I couldn't believe how many times I passed these old non centering analog sticks up in the past. Really, the seller had them there for months when I realized on a possible mod. Bought cheap probably since the seller had them so long putting out on the table every week. With apologies to BoneSnapDeez, I may eventually get around to modding these for the Vectrex "consoles". I already did this with some Apple sticks, maybe the old TRS80 sticks might also work?

There is a very large swap meet really close to me that has been around forever, and is open every weekend rain or shine. I rarely ever go there though, but for some reason I thought I would brave the 90+ degree heat and try my luck. I quickly remembered why I dont go to this place often, there were a ton of games from a lot of sellers, but they all were either a)Faded from sitting out in the sun for too many weekends b) in terrible condition, torn labels, water damage, stickers etc... or c) WAY over priced.

I hit up pretty much every spot hoping to find a gem or 2, when I did find some decent games, they were more than I wanted to pay, and the sellers seem to give you attitude when you dont like their price. I finally made my first score of the day, a table with a mom and little girl. I spied Super Princess Peach (NDS) cart only. She said 15 and I asked if they had a case, they said no and said $10 so I took it.

On my way, getting to some of the last sellers, I find a lady with just a few straggler games sitting on a blanket, she says $5 for any game. I spot dementium the ward (NDS) complete and in excellent condition. I took it because I felt I needed to leave there with something else, I had just spent almost 2 hours in the heat, and needed some validation haha.

Sadly, there were no hidden gems, no major scores, just a reminder that hunting games is not like it used to be, with people thinking just because it is old, or has Mario on it they can charge inflated prices. I will most likely not go back there for a long time, long enough to forget why I dont go there more often.

Dang, that sucks, jay_red. I didn't even bother hunting this week because I've realized the flea market I go to is just the same people every month.....

Here are the pics I promised the other day. Spent about $80, but I already made a quick $22 on Pokemon Red Version so it's balancing out at around $60 right now. Majority of this will be making it to my sale thread tonight or tomorrow.

Forgot to mention a score that happened right on top of me Saturday. Was picking through those PS1 demo discs I listed earlier and there was a xbox sitting next to me complete with all hook ups and a s-type controller. So a guy comes up and asks how much it is and the seller says $5 and even plugs it up to prove it works. Wasn't really interested in it but that was a hell of a score for that other guy :).

I take it you went to Denios in Roseville right?

I know that motto  I lived in northern cali for a long time.

I've been there a couple of times over the years. Yeah Its not like it used to be.

Last time I went was two years ago. The gaming stuff that was there was too expensive.

But many years ago in my teens, there was lots of nice stuff there.

I'm sure one day something nice will come there and you will be there to find it.

Fourth flea market of 2013...

Xbox Crash - Twinsanity €1

Loose PS2 blue cases 14pcs €1

Loose broken lime green NDS lite without battery €2

Fell into the seller's toilet and stopped working. It's in otherwise perfect cosmetic condition. So here's hoping I can still do something with it...

Steak knives 10pcs €2

Vintage 100g brass weight €2

Remember this post I made back in january?...

Found another one in absolutely perfect condition! Looks like it was hardly used at all, and the blades are still super sharp... ^^

Moulinex food processor €4

Are you sure it was lime green before it fell into the toilet? Are you sure you really wanted that thing at all? 'Cause I wouldn't--.

Yup...

Nope...

I understand...

Should've asked if it fell in before or after, and if it was a number 1, number 2, or number 3...

It doesn't smell funny. So it's got that going for it... lol
