What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

lol almost mixed up two orders today was about to send star ocean the last hope international to someone who ordered a N64 transfer pak :P. Sealed them up and did a second weight check before i noticed. Glad i caught it luckily the weight difference between the two packages was .2 ounces or else I would have possibly missed it :P.

:D
Got my first paycheck today. Was only for 3 days of work but $157 is still a nice little boost. I owed my mom $160 however so I repaid my debt.

:):
Got my monthly allowance of $100 and things have been going well with my game sales so even with the loss of the funds from my first check I still have plenty of cash for my flea market raids tomorrow.

:):
My local thrift store has an older Space invaders cabinet don't have room for it but was still cool to see them pick up something like that. Might go back tomorrow once they have had a chance to price it hopefully they will have their %50 off(aka what should be regular price) weekend sale going on.

When I scored a kinda-major Saturn lot back in '05/'06, it came with TONS of CIB games. I later transferred the games to slim DVD cases, not thinking that far ahead.

Anyway, one of the discs was CRACKED! Like literally the disc was broken like that, and I didn't find out until I tried to play the game.

Minor "tick"- clicking on a thread that has a title similar to an updated B/S/T, but only finding out it's just a gameroom thread update. I do it ALL the time.

Dude, I love that kind of stuff. Loved the video.
Thanks! Hit us up with a like if you're on FB, we'd appreciate it, lol. And if you're in the Austin area of Central TX, come on out to our show on 6/8. We're opening for Fast Love at the Gypsy Lounge.

:) - Yard sale this weekend went way better than I hoped. Cleared out a good bit of stuff, and raked in almost $1,200 over a two day period. We sold 15 N64's in the process, but not a single NES or SNES.

 - Still have a bunch of stuff to get rid of.

@Retrodude
I used to work for Geek Squad : Don't go to Geek Squad.

 Why the hell is it so difficult to get an inspection sticker here? Even after spending a couple thousand dollars on this piece of crap PT Cruiser, I still can't get a pass!? Back home, they would get in the car, drive it forwards, then backwards, test your indicators, and slap a sticker on. Here, they seem to check emissions and all sorts of crap. We need to get it inspected to register it here before we have to pay loads of fines. This is absolutely ridiculous.

:( Didn't really get anything done this weekend. Just slept a lot.

:D We're starting to work towards me being a stay at home dad. It's still a pretty distant goal, but one that I think we really need. I enjoy doing stuff around the house, but I'm always too tired to do anything after getting home from work and Cara tends to go stir crazy without a job. Not only that, but after I get all my certifications I'm going to start looking into doing some Administration stuff from home.

It just depends on where you go. Some places are really lax about doing inspections, others are really strict.

Just take it somewhere else.

We were usually good about feeling out places like that back home, but we've already tried several places here. Every time it's something different. I call shenanigans :|

I might know of a couple of places, but I doubt you'd want to drive 5 or so hours to get here.
