Boom. It's all over guys. Nothing to see here.

Sony officially announced that PS4 will not have DRM for used games.

Xbox One will be dead in the water. Your move, Microsoft. Either remove the retarded used game DRM or release a console that is a walking corpse.

It doesn't. You have to have the gold membership to access those services, and those services you must have already purchased. You don't get Netflix and Hulu for $60/year. You get to ACCESS them on the xbox one (or 360) for $60/year after you have paid your hulu and netflix fees.

Yeah, I think he's saying that he would pay it if it did include those things. It however does not.

When the PS4 comes out and it has all the features that Xbox Live has currently, and for free (so that means allowing us to have cloud saves even if we aren't on PSN+, thanks) Microsoft are going to have a serious uphill struggle. There are several things that Live does that PSN doesn't do currently, even with PSN+, which can justify its price (It doesn't justify itself to me anymore but it does for some people).

Dude I think even the Wii U without Nintendo games, is a better proposition than the XBone right now.

It isn't over. They stated that the DRM is up to the developers. Even though it is not nearly as bad as Microsoft by implementing as a necessity for all developers on the system, it still leaves the door open for the developers to kick us in the shins.

At least in this instance, Sony is trying to pass the buck off to the developers instead of on themselves, which is a smart move.

I think by DRM they mean project 10-dollar and stuff like that.

I don't know where you've been but EA has dropped the used game codes from their games. Retroactively too. So that if you have one of their used games but never had the code for online play/dlc/whatever they're now unlocked for you to use, for free. Sadly, no refunds for the people who bought the online pass in the past though :(

Maybe EA did, but Ubisoft titles still have it, and I'm sure all other publishers who used it still have it. I just don't know how many.
