Momocon Retro - we need your help

There's also gender studies, psychological studies, discussions of games as art and entertainment, games as communication devices, games as educational tools, games as training devices, games as medical tools...

Woah there! I was thinking of a panel, probably focused on academic research on retro games, not an interdisciplinary game-studies conference! We'll have to see what kind of scope might be possible. In any case, I'd want to know more about the conference (it's focus, history, events, who attends, etc.) But, since it is hosted at a university anyway, this might be very feasible. Fastbilly1 - you seem to have some kind of planning role in all of this, so send me some more details and I'll see what I can do...

You assumed correctly my friend. I will send you an email/pm with more information as soon as I get a chance.

Haha, nah it's cool. I was just saying there are lots of ways to discuss an academic take on games. A nice, overarching history lesson of what happened and how we got to our current location would be pretty cool with me.
