What Flashlight do you like to use?

So I've gotten into flashlights recently. It's a bit of an oddity I know but since Hurricane Sandy I started getting some flashlights of varying power and sizes. I've had some weak but useful flashlights during the storm and with no power for 17 days pointing the beam to the ceiling made it more useful.

But anyway what flashlight(s) do you use?

I have the Maglite 4D flashlight. I picked it up for $20 from Home Depot in a black finish. I don't like the beam in that it uses a traditional lamp and has a yellow light rather than the nicer bright white LED lights now-a-days. I keep it in a car because it doubles as a self defense weapon. Painful!

My other light I like to use is a Coast HP5TAC. It's really light, uses just one AA battery and it's got a pretty bright LED beam. Two power outputs and a strobe effect. Adjustable too! Got it from amazon for $30.

I cant stand people who do this... not that you should carry a flashlight with you everywhere you go.

But im at a friends and were having a campfire in his backyard and its dark.. and a friend of his comes over with his girlfriend (who has crutches) and hes leading her to the fire with the dinky light on his smartphone... really pathetic.

While i have my pretty epic 100 Lumen flashlight that i got for Free from newegg when ordering a bunch of computer parts.

I bet you nothing and everything that there are people who collect flashlights. I know for some odd reason my Father has purchased train lamps.

That Life+Gear light in the video is insane. 6 C batteries!

I know a video floating around of a guy who made a Dead Space Plasma Cutter using lasers similar to those from Wickedlasers.

I have pretty decent built in night vision, so just a cheapo lantern battery one that I was given and a freebie LED one from Harbor Freight. I don't often need a flashlight and I don't really need to collect something else.
