Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
crash purple is a sister game to another gameboy game. They switched main characters. Spyro went to a crash bandicoot game and Crash went to a spyro game.
anyhoo....
I went to Yuma, AZ to thrift shop and I got lots of goodies.
At a Goodwill I got:Final Fantasy X strategy guide, Chrono Cross strategy guide, Legend Of Legaia Strategy guide, Okage Shadow King Strategy guide, Final Fantasy IX strategy guide, Alundra 2 strategy guide, Arc The Lad Twilight of the Spirits strategy guide, grandia III strategy guide, Dot Hack Infection Stategy guide, Grandia Extreme strategy guide, Star Ocean Till the end of time strategy guide. All eleven of them for $2.00 each
At the same place I got GI Joe The Atlantis factor NES for $5.99 and Mystic Heroes PS2 CIB for $5.00. I haggle with the teller for the GI Joe game cause they wanted $7.99 and I wanted to give them Five. but we ended up meeting halfways at that price.
Lots of manga too: Japanese Media Mix Magazine Nov 2009, Eureka Seven vols 4 and 6, Suikoden III vol 2, Slayers Return vol 1, Demon City hunter vol 1, Full Metal Panic Vol 1, Saint Marie Vol 2. Also all of them for $2.00 each. Its safe to say that this weabo wiped out that thrfit store of all their japanese stuf!
At some random pawn shop I picked up a 1911 silver dime for about $2.00 in fair condition. Its a gift for my uncle who collects coins. From the same place I got some comics; Ghost in the Shell dark horse single comics vols 1,3-5 and Uncanny X-men #184. $10 for all of them. I also got Mugen Souls for PS3 for $10 there. With box, but sadly no manual though.
At another random thrift store I found a single white PS2 slim base console for $2.00. Its insides are kinda dirty and looks to have cockroach remains but I hope it works
At yet another thrift store I found Magic Knight Rayearth TV series Season One for $5.00. I know some of you guys here dont like that series, but for $5.00 it seemed like a good price. I also got two dvds one a japanese horror movie called Infection and a martial arts/fantasty movie called True Legend. a dollar each.
I got a blue ray movie (Bunraku) for $3.00, and some transformers prime toys (wheeljack and Airachnid) from big lots for $16. For some reason these toys were expensive at store when they came out ($15+) and biglots had more, but I was saving my money for gamestop...
At the two gamestops in that town I got lots of PS2 games. I know I am a hypocrite and I dont like to buy disc only games but this time I did. At least I got the B2G2 free promo.
They are fodder for my PS2 Hard Drive
. $36.00 got me all of these games:
Alien Hominid (disc)$3.59, El Tigre (disc) $2.69, Samurai jack Shadow of Aku (disc) $.00 and Wave Rally CIB $.00; Stitch Experiment 626 (disc) $1.79, Commandos 2 (disc) $1.79, Rune Viking Warlord (disc)$.00, Orphen Scion Of Sorcery (disc) $.00; IGPX (disc) $3.59, Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast (disc) $3.59, Beatdown fists of Vengance (disc) $.00, Samurai Western (disc) $.00
I also got disc only copies of Steambot Chronicles and Guilty Gear X for $4.49 each. And Boxed Copies of Inuyasha Secret of The Cursed mask $6.29 and Yanya Caballista City Skater for $0.02
hope I didnt bore you guys with my random crap.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
A reason why you should always ask at yard sales if they have video games for sale!
The last yard sale stop this morning, I found a family cleaning out the contents of the house. I didn't see anything gaming related so I asked the lady if she had any old video games for sale. She mentioned they had one of those "cartridge 64 things" in the attic and went to go get it. I was bit let down since I don't like or collect the N64, but there might be Ocarina of Time or something uncommon worthwhile to buy.
She comes out a few minutes later with a box containing the family's NES collection! I asked how much she'd be willing to part with the whole lot and she replied she'd sell it for $25. Score!
