I feel bad about not posting earlier this month after all the auto fire talk, but I figured I'd get back to the game sooner rather than later. I would like to play an hour or so tonight, though.

I already got you beat. I didn't want to put up such a pitiful score, though. If I can't do something magical today, I'll put up my highest score anyway and just call it a day, thinking, "Hey, at least I beat dsheinem."

I already got you beat. I didn't want to put up such a pitiful score, though. If I can't do something magical today, I'll put up my highest score anyway and just call it a day, thinking, "Hey, at least I beat dsheinem."

I figure I may as well show my best, even if it is bad. I forgot to do that with Dragon Spirit and now I am not on the board at all.

If I had had more time this month for playing games, I probably could have made it past the boss. I started acing levels 1 and 2, but 3 really slows me down. Definitely something I want to try my hand at again, though.

Two things, though. 1) Accidentally getting the laser made me reset the game more than dying. 2) I love the little hidden powerups! Not just the dragon-punching Ryu, but the little helmet heads and engines and checkered flags. Very nice touch, Capcom.

One last thing: why on earth can't I access the high score table from the game? Oh, well, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. My top score got entered in at AAA because I didn't realize I was on my last life.

it was a good game, Exed, just not my thing.

It's all good. Not every shmup here is gonna appeal to everyone, but in the spirit of community, I'll play whatever I have access to.

Writeup has been sent for next month's game, and it looks to have a bit more wider appeal.
