I did a similar thing for my wedding, and wore a Fedora myself. The older style, larger ones that Ack was describing earlier.the King wrote: I have a Homburg. My buddy got us all hats for standing up in his wedding. Two of us got Homburgs, one a Bowler and one a Fedora.
I wear it occasionally for more formal situations, the last of which was a friend's wedding.

I've been trying to figure out the source on it for a while, its a funny comic with some good commentary.
