Question for the married guys out there...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

going on 7 years of happy marriage here :)

I can't remember what music we had -- but we had a crappy DJ. We chose him based off of recommendations from acquaintances. Trouble is, they didn't use him for a wedding, but instead random parties.

I do remember we used some Josh Groban music for the ceremony which sounded great and we danced to "our son", "I Knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden -- (Truly Madly Deeply is another great Savage Garden ballad)

Earlier I had an idea to do a wedding "road trip," but that was shot down. I also thought of the bride as a flower child and the groom a military general- kind of an exaggerated reflection of our respective families...

I'm not very good at this, am I?

Reading this topic makes me feel pretty lonely.

More so than a typical single loser, anyway.

Hahaha, I know exactly where you're coming from. I like to think of myself not as a single loser, but a single gamer who's not "ready" to settle down. Yeah, that's it. It has NOTHING to do with the habit that first brought me to this site.

If it makes you feel any better, those of us with wives/families can't do the weekend gaming marathons like we used to back in the day. (Hence the collection of unplayed RPGs in my gaming library.)

So enjoy it while you can. :P
