Metal Slug Anthology is what's under dispute. I don't have the MVS or AES carts to compare, but I can make a video of the input lag in my copy if anyone wants. I don't know if there was a revision or if there was even a difference between revisions if there were one.

Coming back to the actual ports, wouldn't they in theory be missing any input lag? Metal Slug 6 on Anthology was a port and that one may of lacked any input lag.
And how about them iOS ports? Crap or absolute crap?
N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.

Metal Slug 6 on the PSP is emulated. You can tell because the 2p side is flashing "press start" which makes no sense on the PSP. It's taken straight from the arcade. There was no input lag in my short test, but a lot of slowdown.

How could anyone dislike Anthology?

It's 6 games for the price of 1 with extras for cripes sake.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

It doesn't matter if those 6 games are presented in a way that makes them less enjoyable (i.e. with emulation issues or what have you).

So Anthology.SNK Collection use emulation, input lag & bad controller options, so I'd rather get the ports.

MS1 - PS1 or Saturn
MS2 - ???
MS3 - PS2?
MS4 - PS2/Xbox
MS5 - PS2/Xbox
MS6 - ???

What's wrong with Metal Slug 1 & 2 for the NGCD?

He's specifically avoiding Neo Geo hardware, which I assume includes the NGCD.

I mean, if that's that, that's fine, but NGCD is very different than an MVS or AES, and loads cheaper, too.

Even without directly answering the op, does anyone know how Metal Slug 1 stacks up against the PS1 and Saturn versions?
