I'm excited for it but wasn't the second half supposed to start in January February ish? And now on AMC's website they say its starting in June.

A couple weeks ago, I finally got to watch the X-Files episode Bryan Cranston was in. I remember reading a while back why (or partially why) Bryan was cast for Walter.

Gilligan said when they needed a bad guy that you would feel sorry for when he dies at the end, Bryan was the only one who could pull it off.

Knowing what's in the spoiler, it kinda ruined the episode for me. So if you plan to watch it, I suggest not reading the spoiler.

Any who, I didn't know Aaron Paul was also in an X-Files episode! I'm watching that one now. I wonder if the X-Files also had something to do with him being cast for Breaking Bad.

Yes, all X-Files episodes are on NetFlix streaming. The Aaron Paul episode is in the 9th season. I forget which season the Cranston episode was in, some where around six. If you want, I can find out which episode number and which season each one is so you don't have to hunt for it.

Do the X-files as a series stand the test of time? is it still all that good? I remember back then it was just as big as the shows on today like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

Whenever I watch Fringe or Breaking Bad I think of X Files with a feeling of gratitude.

The episode Aaron Paul is in is called Lord of the Flies. It is season 9, episode 5. The episode Bryan Cranston is in is called Drive. It is season 6, episode 2.

I thought Drive was a really good episode. Lord of the Flies, meh, it was alright. I wouldn't watch it just for the sake of seeing Aaron Paul's performance, he plays a dumb teenager. Funny though, the parallels to Breaking Bad.

I say yes. The first few seasons seem REALLY dated, but they're still awesome.

I watched the entire Fringe series for the first time (loved it btw) in December and January. I remember when that show first came out, I thought "Oh, it's the new X-Files." Now I've been watching the entire X-Files series on NetFix (on the last season now). Although I've seen some X-Files episodes in the past, most of them are brand new to me. Now that I'm on a later season making references to past seasons, I'll sometimes have a hard time distinguishing between X-Files and Fringe. Like, it'll take me a minute to remember which show something occurred on.

AMC has been playing some very brief snippets of season 3 during The Killing.

We have a shot of Jesse laying under a dirty coffee table with a cockroach climbing over him. A shot of Hank flooring it while looking very angry. And a shot of Walt standing in his drive way looking nervously around like somebody left a note or did something suspicious.

4 weeks... Also, it appears that the show has been moved up to 9:00.
