Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I think this was my best weekend for picking up games ever
At a garage sale on Friday a box of 40 NES games including Zombie Nation, planning to resell Zombie Nation and the doubles I found in the box, so check my B/S/T thread if interested.
At a garage sale on Saturday picked up strategy guides for Little Big Planet and Tomb Raider Anniversary for $1 each
At the flea market today I picked up
A dreamcast with 2 controllers,a VMU, and Ready 2 Rumble boxing for $10
Boxed RC PRO-AM, Robocop, and Rad Racer for $2 each
Tetris with manual for $5
Golden Axe CIB for $5
Ecco the Dolphin: Tides of Time CIB for $2
Ecco the Dolphin (Dreamcast) CIB with Sonic Adventure 2 demo for $10
Legend of Zelda: Windwaker CIB Black label for $18
Street Fighter Alpha Warriors Dreams (Saturn) disk only for $8
Sorry, would add pictures, but I'm having trouble getting them on here.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
My wife's brother, who is 10 years old called me today to say that he found Q*bert and Empire Strikes Back, both for the Atari 2600 at a garage sale for $2. Although that isn't that big of a deal, I was amazed as he asked me questions about what TV is the best to play an atari 2600 on, how much the console costs and what would be good games to get for it.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Picked up two games that have been on my want list for a while, now.
Today, I had a sudden urge to buy a game that I traded in long ago: X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I called 6 Gamestops in my area until I found one that had a copy with the Cover and Manual. Good grief. While I was there, I happened to spot a game that I couldn't believe I was looking at: Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon. I've been trying to track down a CIB copy of this game for a year. Oh Lord, was I happy to pick that one up!

I snagged this badboy from a local gameshop for $65 after some trade-ins. Not too bad of a deal I don't think

Looks like an interesting game. One of your other Finds caught my eye, the game BLACK. I have been keeping an eye out for that Xbox version, its one of my favorite FPS games on the PS2. Also curious about PS2 Speed Racer for the maybe better control option over the Wii.prfsnl_gmr wrote:It is also by the same group that developed the sublime Chronicles of Riddick for the Xbox. I have a copy, but have not spent much time with it (i.e., I tested it to see if it worked). Please let us know what you think of it. Please also let us know what you think of the PS2 version of Speed Racer. I picked up the Wii version last week, and I was quite impressed with it.sevin0seven wrote:it's a hack and slash adventure playing either the light or dark side. its suppose to have both first and third person view. never played it so i'll find out if its good or not.o.pwuaioc wrote:^What's that Enclave all about?
Xbox SmartJoy Frag - $4.99 Ebay Shipped
Speaking of that Black Xbox game, I bought a SmartJoy Frag adapter for the Xbox. Just like the PS2 version a nice alternative of Keyboard and Mouse/Trakball option for FPS and Arcade style games. Gave it a run thru and found the TrackMan Marble FX really works well with Panzer Dragoon Orta, the cursor really has tight and quick response control.

Some more buys from Book Off and A-Too in Kyoto...

That's Last Blade in the top right, in case you don't recognise the cover. KOF97 was only 105 yen (about $1)!
Also added the Star Soldier Collection to my Japanese PSP shmups:
