Okay now you're just pushing buttons.
Am I? I am just not a religious/spiritual person, it was my understanding that atheism was basically its own form of religion.
It's not. Theism is a belief in god(s). Atheism = not theism. That's it, nothing else.

Also Agnosticism deals with knowledge, atheism deals with belief. Most people I've met that describe themselves as agnostics would probably be better described as agnostic atheists.

This popped up in google, and it probably explains it as well as anything:

Atheist really doesn't imply anything other than lack of belief in a god. There really isn't any more complexity to it than that.

Exactly. A religion carries systems of morals, and culture. Athiesm doesn't hold any of those things. It is simply the lack of belief in deities.

the confusion comes from people who prosthelize atheism as a dogmatism...in my experience agnostics don't do this since "belief" has nothing to do with their consideration of a diety.

This is probably more what I am getting at.

I was about to post something along the lines of how I think it happens because there are a lot of atheists who want to try and distance themselves from the more obnoxious reddit types out there. More or less the same thing I guess.

It's all semantics.

To those who've chimed in on my endeavor to sell my games, I'll go ahead and say that my brother really IS an idiot. I've got close to a thousand dollars in games, 120 individual titles spread across 11 systems (NES, Super NES, N64, Genesis, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, Wii, Saturn and PSP) and mostly in good to great-to-like-new condition, and he thinks I should sell it all for $500! What a dumbass! That's less than half! And the guy on Craigslist he told me about will probably take the games I sold him/her, sell it all individually on eBay and make a profit!

So I'm just probably break them up into system-specific lots and sell them like that. In that case:

* NES lot - 11 carts (some w/ dust sleeves and/or manuals) for $60
* Super NES lot - 4 carts for $12
* Genesis lot - 15 carts + 1 CIB copy of Ren & Stimpy's Invention for $75
* Saturn lot - 9 disc-only games (6 w/ manuals) for $55
* N64 lot - 6 carts for $40
* PS2 lot - 27 games (mostly CIB, only a handful of disc-only games) games for $160
* GameCube lot - 15 games (14 CIB, one w/ missing manual) for $230 (includes a few rare games)
* Xbox lot - 9 games (mostly CIB, one w/ missing manual) for $50
* Xbox 360 lot - 7 games (mostly CIB) and the Big Button Controller (one of the games is Scene It! Lights, Camera Action) for $80
* Wii lot - 6 CIB games for $70
* PSP lot - 11 games (10 CIB, one in mismatched case) and 1 UMD Video for $95

Seriously, this!

Ebay fees can be nasty sometimes, and if you aren't an established seller they'll sometimes hold your funds for a while.

I'm kind of afraid of getting ripped off. But eBay DOES have a lot of asinine fees. Now should I have a flat price for each lot, of should the price just be a discount if someone buys the whole damn thing? I mean, I could make the full $972 if I sold them individually, if not $15-20 less, but selling as a lot, and for these prices, would make me $45 less. But if I can prove to my brother that I really CAN sell close to a thousand bucks' worth of stuff for that much and NOT half, then who am I to argue?

Oh, and this is the guide I used to check the prices. My brother used this one as well IIRC.

REPO Man, I might be interested in your PSP games. Send me a PM.

So, I don't know if it's a smile or a frown, but it's the feeling you get when you're one note away from perfect.

It was the first time I played the song on HARD too (in this game you have to play NORMAL to get HARD, and HARD to unlock EXTREME).
