What would your dream game compilation be?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

But if you already have all those carts (I'm only missing Lethal Enforcers), then why bother with a collection? What's the impetus?

I don't have those carts, and neither do a lot of other people. I have some of them.

I've always wanted to see a series' main games kind of all be remade to the same level of quality and similar styles, and then tied together into a flowing game without explicit end and start points.

For example ... if there was a version of Half-Life where everything was revamped from HL1, BS, OPF, Decay, HL2, and the episodes, and it was tied together into a flowing narrative ... that'd be pretty crazy. Though this is more remake territory than compilation.

I guess I wouldn't mind a Contra compilation of 1-4 + Hard Corps. A Capcom Disney compilation would be pretty cool.

Colecovision?

I think it would be nice to see a compilation of all the Sega light-gun arcade games. That one probably only lives in my dreams.

The SNES port looks like the best easily accessible version actually. It was somewhat expensive last time I checked though.

It would also be insanely long, and cost a ton to make.

LOL, I posted this back in 2009. Even with the release of Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection two years ago, I'm still waiting.
