The last piece of the puzzle was when I found a giant archive of creative commons music that I don't have to pay anything to use as long as I credit the artist (which I would do anyway even if I didn't have to). I've already got my first film planned out so all I have to do is put in the work to make it happen. This is gonna be fun.

I just can't imagine what that situation must be like for you, Johnny. I don't know what to say other than I'm hoping your friend pulls through.
^This^ :/

:? Got to work and my boss said we "needed to talk".

:D I'm not fired. He had quite a few compliments, and I already knew the bad things. There was talk of a possible raise, but it's highly unlikely do to my current performance.

:D Vacation is approved and I'm good to go. Already have all the party games we want, and a bunch of spare controllers. Can't wait to spend some time with my family, go see a movie, and take my daughter to the Audubon Zoo and Aquarium.

:D My daughter spelled her name for the first time today. She used the little letter magnets on the fridge. Add that to the vast amount of video game characters she knows, and the fact she knows which controller goes to which console, and I have one smart kid.

:( A lot of money has been spent this month, and more will be spent next month. I'm not used to spending this kind of money and it feels absolutely terrible. I won't be buying anything extra until vacation time.

Here ya go. If you click on the "edit tags" button, you can narrow down what kind of music you're looking for. Hope that helps!

 Decided to look up the individual prices for my games, in lieu of just selling them as a fixed-price lot.

Smile: New CPU cooler is quiet. My high end machine now barely makes any noise!

Frown: Pretty sure I have a hemorrhoid and damn is it sore.

If you didn't sit on the toilet and play gameboy, you wouldn't have that problem!

Smile: Totally forgot I have Monday off, and so does my wife. Also totally forgot it was Memorial Day weekend. Seriously, I just cleaned my grill, purchased a new grill plate, and Memorial Day didn't even register.

Frown: Will probably just grill out hotdogs together. Not complaining about eating hot dogs, but there isn't a decent steak at a decent price in my area. $10usd a lb. for a crappy New York Strip? No way dude. I'll pay $10usd a lb. if that steak comes along with the filet, but I don't know why anyone pays top dollar for NYS over a Porterhouse, or even a T-bone for that fact.

Whenever I go out to eat, I usually end up talking to brick walls. A few of my friends and I have an oath that we all have to put our phones face down on the table while we eat. If any of us pick up our phone, we pay for the entire table's meal. Seems to work pretty well.
I like that agreement, though I just recently read a study that says that just having your smartphone sitting on the table while eating leads to more distracted attention.

Still, I'm going to take your tip and use things like that to avoid becoming a cell phone zombie. Unfortunately, I just discovered a SNES emulator for Android, which has already spun me in the wrong direction.

I actually do better with ignoring my phone when I have people around, and when I'm getting texts and such. When I'm alone, or when I'm not getting texts, I get somewhat obsessive over it because I get lonely.

:D Just looked up all the games I'm trying to sell, and after adjusting the prices (lowering them slightly, adjusting for the fact that they're budget reissues and/or purchased used and/or whatever), discovered that if I sell them for the prices I've come to, then everything will be worth around...
$972!
And there's still TONS other shit I'm also trying to get rid of, though this may end up providing me with 3/5 of the money I'll need to move to New York.

My brother's been helping me with some things, like talking me into pricing the items individually and also knows a guy on Craigslist who might be able to buy all/most of it (albeit for less than what I'm asking for), though he doesn't know I'm selling it to pay for my move to New York. I know this because I haven't said anything and he keeps suggesting things I should buy. Though that last part may be his way of sabotaging my move by appealing to my innate desire to own and satisfy my personal wants. Or maybe he just wants a PS3 and thinks I'll share it.
