I found this article on japanese fanzines. Its a few months old, but its interesting.
There are 8 entries, but this particular one made me smile. The reason why, I think, should be obvious.

Smile: Sturmwind, which I ordered in 2011, finally arrived at my house today!
Ticked: Fucking COLD start to the holiday weekend that is supposed to kick off summer. Parts of this state have seen snow today, apparently. It's currently in the low 40s and I am bundled up in flannel

Smile: So check it out. I have a friend who writes for Universal, and his biggest Hollywood hits include Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, Despicable Me the Ride. and the upcoming Minions (see a theme?). Luckily the guy is married to a fantastic woman and they were also lucky enough to have a kid, so I got my Mom to make these for the newborn:

Moms didn't have a pattern, totally winged it, and they turned out pretty damned good.
Smile: John Clayton is quickly becoming my personal hero. Again.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I've never had a smartphone and never wanted one. I see so many couples out to dinner or waiting in line for a movie where they are both just locked into their phones and not communicating. I've seen people who never seem to detach from the internet, even when they go out. I've seen people increase their amount of multi-tasking. I've seen people that can answer any e-mail anytime/anywhere so often that people now get upset if you don't reply within the hour. I've seen people get excited about apps that are just crappier version of what a laptop can do better. I've seen astronomically high phone/text/data bills.
And now I'm one of those people. :/
