 Ebay shippers sending me cardboard boxed games in bubble mailers. How do they not realize it will get smashes and ruined? One seller responded saying: "Sorry, I didn't realize it was a collector's item"

:( There were some issues. Turns out they didn't have anything for third shift, and with every other job (the guy also mentioned I could go for turnstile operator), the guy also mentioned that the third shift custodial job would require a valid driver's licence.
Get one ASAP.
Yeah, don't look for excuses NOT to work. If they say want a valid license maybe they JUST mean they need a valid ID - something you should be able to get from the DMV or some such even without doing any driving related tasks.

Made a pizza for my little brother and myself. Just a frozen pizza because no one else is cooking and I have too much homework to cook real food. He demands that we split it 50/50, even though he's 9, and I explain that he uses 1500 calories a day while I use 3500, and that makes no sense.

Took the pizza out of the oven and told him to let it cool off for 5 minutes. Came back 5 minutes later. Every piece but one was gone.

Smile - Wife called from the road and said we have received our tax return, which will be used to pay off anything in collections/negatively affecting our credit. We've been playing catch up ever since my son was born, it'll be nice to be on top of things again instead of the other way around.

MAD AS FUCK - Just went to the gas station to put $20 in the tank. I took my son out of the vehicle and looked behind me to see a car full of tweakers. Most people try to conceal the fact that they are under the influence. One of the girls eyes were about to pop out of her head, and she was grinding her teeth very clearly. It was obvious that these people had just done some meth, and they had their kids with them. If you're gonna do that shit, don't do it around your fucking children. I was going to call the cops, but there was no way to really hide the fact that I was calling the cops. The whole situation made me very upset. Some fucking world we live in.

It's my birthday and I have no idea what to do with myself. Normally I'd just go out drinking but I quit drinking so what do I do? My friend made a joke about us going to a strip club and throwing change at the strippers. I laughed for a long time at that but I'm sure we'd probably end up getting kicked out violently.

Ticked: My mom sent me money for my birthday but she sent it to my old place (my ex's), so chances are that I'm never going to see that money. I didn't find out until it was to late to do a change of address even though I never got any mail there in the first place. I'm actually kind of sad about this.

Oh crap I just remembered my license expires today. Welp guess I've got a date at the dmv tomorrow for about 3 hours.

Frown: Four of my friends including my ex girlfriend... Two other friends. And my best friend for 15 years were in a car crash... My ex was driving and she was killed in the crash. My best friend wasn't wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the car. He is alive but in critical condition. Punctured lungs, broken bones in his face, brain hemorrhage, broken ribs, broken arms.,. The two that were in the backseat are injured but ok. Guys this really has me fucked up. This guy is closer than family to me. Neither of us have wives or families,so we are pretty much inseparable. Everyone in the car was wasted except for my ex. She was the DD. I was up all day at the hospital with him. Been hitting the jack since I got home at 10. I was still really close to my ex. This is some hard shit.
