Nintendo and Sony's press conference spent even more time talking about things that are not game related. I really don't understand how that criticism goes only toward Microsoft.
The difference is Sony and Nintendo announced a shit tonne of exciting games. Xbox conference announced nothing except for Remedy's new IP. We already knew about Yawn of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 219472174612545 and HandEgg2014.

E3 is in less than a month, is it that surprising they didn't reveal any big titles?

I hardly remember any games actually being shown at the Wii-U and PS4 thing. I mean yeah, everyone knows theres going to be a new Mario and Super Smash bros, but it's not like they were actually shown.

All the systems play games, and there are less and less exclusives these days. For the hardware reveals, they are trying to hype up what unique capabilities the consoles have over their competitors. Makes sense.

Bayonetta 2, Pikmin, Game and Wario, Lego City, Wonderful 101, MH3U, TTT, Ninja Gaiden 3, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Scribblenauts: U... Hardly anything... right...

I'm still hoping they call it the Xbox 360 Delta, to finish ripping off the Playstation controller entirely.

A game console is only as good as its software. The Xbox 360 and PS3 didn't impress me much hardware wise - but both systems had decent exclusives (JRPGs for PS3 and JRPGs/shmups for the 360).

Even if this X1 ends up with some solid exclusives (which we won't hear about until the Madden/COD/brogames are sufficiently hyped) I likely won't buy it because of the no used games thing. Total balls.

The only thing I'm still looking forward to in my gaming future is lightweight and portable VR goggles with 3D vision and a fully digital games library for an open system. A small laptop and the Oculus Rift are the next step in the future I want for gaming, not another Xbox that is basically the same as the last one, but with slightly better graphics and dramatically more user restrictions.
