Well they've quoted themselves as saying the PlayStation 4 won't block used game sales. But I guess this didn't technically block the sales of used games either.ZenErik wrote:So the point in buying physical copies is basically null now.. Lame.
Sony still hasn't 100% confirmed either way on the PS4, as far as I know. They gave a very vague response when asked.

Either one likely just have expanded content control over the previous generation that publishers can choose to utilize or not.TheSonicRetard wrote: Well they've quoted themselves as saying the PlayStation 4 won't block used game sales. I'm hardly a Sony fanboy. I have about an equal number amount of games on the PS3 and 360.Jmustang1968 wrote:So says the Sony fanboy.dsheinem wrote:It also doesn't exist to make modern gamers happy, from what I'm reading across social media.samsonlonghair wrote:A console for the masses. When were you able to stop and admire your character in the first place?Blu wrote:It's pretty bad. I don't care that the polygon count on my 3-D models is going up. I don't need to be able to count the pubes on my CoD dude.
Overall, yes the graphics are an improvement. Did the games they show interest me? Not really. Did the hardware itself interest me? Not really, the system looks like a giant brick. I am not a fan of having the Kinect added to the system. That just ups the price tag on an unknown piece of hardware. That opinion can change if they really improved the kinect in a big way.
I wasn't impressed, but that doesn't mean the system will be bad. I wish it was backwards compatible, I am curious to know more about the rumor of the, "No used games," thing. If that really is the case, they dropped the ball in a really really really bad way.
My impressions overall were "meh." Does that mean I think the system sucks? Not at all. It just means it isn't for me.
