:) : Last night was a good friend's graduation party. I hung out for the whole time, chilling and such. In about the last hour or so he, and the others he was sharing the party with, essentially forced me onto the dance floor. (They told me it would be a graduation present.) I went ahead and did it, and I liked it pretty well. Now I'll be stuck dancing all the time...

Sometimes the best way to do something is to just get forced to dive into it.

I woke up to my phone ringing my sister in law called to inform me my mom died last night and ask me to come home for my brother he needed me. It seems sometime this week i will be digging a hole at a grave yard to bury her ashes.

I think so. And I gotta admit, after I danced, that girl suddenly got touchy feely and giggly...

That's rough, I'm sorry to hear that. Late night calls with that kind of information can seriously be hard to deal with.

Sorry to hear that Cookie. A friend just lost her Dad on Tuesday and someone else at work lost their grandfather the other week.

:( The recycling place near me that paid for cans is gone. It was there the other week but I drove by yesterday and there was just an empty gravel lot. The building, fence, and everything was just... gone.

Hmmm... disappearing shop. Sounds like you missed out on your chance to buy a mogwai.

Poorness: Boss sent me home because I sounded like a dying cat, and then later rang to tell me not to come in tomorrow either. He's a nice guy, and I know he just wants me to get better and not get the rest of the workforce sick but I really need the money. I have to spend nearly a grand on my $3500 car this week, as well as set-up third part insurance for it.

Smile: In exactly a week I will go and pass a very easy computer test, which will get me my divers licence! It's way overdue, and needed considering I live in the fricken sticks.

Smile: Finally got one of those VHS to digital conversion kits. It works great and I'm finally starting to back up my tapes of HBO's Encyclopedia TV series (anyone here besides me remember that one?). I would just download it and save myself the trouble, but the show is apparently so obscure that no one has ever put a torrent together. All you can find on youtube is clips and most of those were uploaded by one of the actors from the show (David Sterry). I honestly wonder if I might have the only complete set of episodes in existence (aside from the folks who worked on it, of course)

MegaBloks?! Get that kid some real Legos.

Megabloks are more appropriate for her age, they are larger and easier for her to grab. Also, less foot trauma. Still hurts to step on them, but not as bad a Legos. I know that they do make the Duplo blocks, but those tend to be more expensive.
