POLTERGEIST
In the very beginning of the movie, we see the parents getting stoned. Who knows what else they were on? Everything that follows is a bad trip.
THE BRADY BUNCH
Carol had an ongoing affair with Sam The Butcher, thus he did not bring Alice the meat.
NIC CAGE
He actually has hair, but it's cgi'd out.
PRESIDENT OBAMA
Really, really hates Jay-Z and can't stand when Jay-z mentions him.
TU-PAC'S DEATH
Faked. He asked me for a Newport cigarette seven years ago at 2am while I was eating at a Waffle House.
SOPRANOS
Tony begins the series with a panic attack, and he ends with one. If my college educated daughter couldn't parallel park, I'd freak out a bit too.
KURT SCHILLING
Bloody sock was all a ruse.

Re: The official "Fan Theories" thread
I don't think that's really a fan theory. Pretty sure that's suggested heavily in the movie and I know Ridley Scott has since confirmed that.MulishaSoldier929 wrote:Here's an article than ran on cracked a little while back about some great movie fan theories. Its a good read.

My own theory:
I think Deckard(Harrison Ford) in Blade Runner is actually a replicant. I personally don't want him to be because I think It makes a better story if he isn't, but the evidence supporting him being a replicant makes it hard to think he's not.
My own theory: The Force is actually a bunch of microscopic organisms called midichlorians that can be calculated through basic blood testing. See? Over analyzing always makes things better.

Its hinted at in the movie but ultimately it is left up to the viewer. Tho the director(Scott) did say he was on a couple of occasions that he is, Harrison Ford will disagree with you. He does not believe he is a replicant and hated the idea of it. Also in the book its proven he is human by a blood test.
So its not as cut and dry(or dumb) as your "force" comparison where Lucas flat out tells you what it is.
Here's a link to a blade runner fansite that talks about the evidence supporting both sides of Deckard replicant argument if you have the time.

Re: The official "Fan Theories" thread
If the director flat out says "it's this way", I tend to take it at face value. I mean, if the guy who created the movie doesn't get the last say, why should a bunch of fans who had no input on the creative process have the final say? It's not so much "fan theory" as it is "fan denial". Which is fine, but I don't like when people take non-open things and pretend like they're open. Everyone kept saying that Harvey Dent was still alive at the end of The Dark Knight and that he'd come back for the sequel. Or that Ra's al Ghul was going to use the lazarus pit. There's a difference between interpreting something a certain way based on evidence, and just wishful thinking on the part of fans who think it'd be cool if Harvey came back.

My little fan theory for Cabin in the Woods is that it ties into Joss Whedon's Buffyverse.

Tupac faked his death so he could kill Biggie. He now lives in Queens.Luke wrote:TU-PAC'S DEATH

Re: The official "Fan Theories" thread
I'm afraid you're on the wrong track about Tupac. First place is to look at his name, which backwards is "caput", Latin for "head", but also homophonous with "kaput". Tupac was supposed to be killed by Biggy Smalls, who isn't even a human. The Biggy part refers to his real self, who is larger than his human self, his "smaller" self. Biggy and Tupac are eon-old supernatural enemies, and Biggy came in his incarnation in order to try to snuff out Pac once and for all. Why Tupac, you may ask? It's because he's the savior of earth. You can see this message on his Makaveli album - a clear picture of Tupac as "Makaveli" on a cross. But since Tupac was more powerful, Biggy was sent on a suicide mission. That's why he is "ready to die". It didn't end there, though. The two powers collided in a way never before seen, and both were destroyed. Biggy used his reincarnation powers to start a new life - "Life After Death" - though he's still in embryonic form. Tupac's main form was destroyed, but his powers dispersed. That's why we still hear from him afterward, but it's never quite as powerful as when he was fully incarnate. However, perhaps "Pac's Life" is an indication of a full-on return.
Re: The official "Fan Theories" thread
Actually, and this is NOT a theory, Tupac was cremated, and then his ashes were mixed with cannabis and smoked.
Anyone ever see The Doom Generation? I have a theory that the whole movie takes place in a version of hell. They died prior to the movie, and they must relive their actions for the rest of eternity in a warped version of their lives. That explains all the signs citing the end of days. And that every time they buy something, the total's always $6.66, even though there's no way that'd be possible. And why everyone keeps thinking Amy (Rose McGowan's character) is someone else, since they've been damned so long they don't remember much about their old lives. They each were probably sent to Hell because of Amy and her boyfriend Jordan (played by Araki regular, James "Frank the Bunny" Duvall), and that they're taunting the two. But while Amy and Jordan are dead, their traveling companion Xavier (played by Johnathon Schaech) is a demon from Hell, who either are responsible for their damnation OR torment them as a traveling companion in Hell.
My other theory is that they all died much later on in the movie, probably around the time they were having the three-way. And that everything after marks their arrival in Hell.

THE WIZ
THEORY: The Wicked Witches are hot-air balloons.
They deflate when crushed or cooled, respectively.
JEFF THE KILLER
THEORY: The "Jeff the Killer" creepypasta started off as a Joker origin fanfic.
GLEE
THEORY: Rory Flanagan, the Irish exchanged student from Season 3 was last seen the in third season finale. To date, no one's mentioned his fate. His only appearance since then was as Artie's guardian angel in a dream sequence. Theory? Rory died sometime between the end of Season 3 (when we saw him and other characters bidding Rachel good-bye as she took the train to New York City) and the beginning of the school year in the fourth season premiere. He may have gone back to Ireland and died after.
