Youtube Partnership?

Post by AdamGomez1987 »

Hey everyone,

Thank you everyone for reading this. Just a moment ago, a group from RPM messaged me on youtube to partner up with them and I'm not sure what to think about it because it's the first time someone has ever offered me something, well, here's the message:
YOUTUBE PARTNERSHIP
Hello, my name is FURIAtunez and I am a recruiter for the premier online YouTube network, RPM.

We are offering a youtube partnership to exceptional channels and we are paying an average CPM of $1-$5 with our great revenue sharing scheme. Month on month, our average CPM worldwide is over $2 (higher than Machinima) and on average, English channels gain a CPM of $4+.

I am very pleased to offer you a YouTube partnership today! If you would like to know more, my skype is: furiakillzyt

You can apply directly on this link: http://awe.sm/q0Gg6

Thank you for reading, have a great day!
I asked them why they were interested in my channel and this is what they sent me:
Re:YOUTUBE PARTNERSHIP
RPM is a network that can pretty much partner every channel. Our aim is to partner small channels that may bcome a hge success in the near future. If you kept creating gaming videos and you managed to share them os social media websites such us facebook and twitter you would defenatly grow big soon. thats why
It's confusing me really as I'm not sure what to think about this so I need some help what people think about partnerships and so forth. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Here is my channel by the way:

I've never heard of this sort of thing, but it sounds like a scam to me?

Anytime someone you don't know contacts you with an offer to give you money for not doing anything... be wary.

Thanks, I needed a reminder to hear that. It sounds like common sense but when you're thrown with offers or something new, as a gamer I hear people get connected with Machinima and they get pretty well off. Temptation can blind a person you know?

I wouldn't do it, they are desperate for anyone and look at the ending of that video. She puts too much makeup especially on her forehead. At first I thought Machinima was cool, but then I heard about how hard it was to break their job contracts. Don't be the replygirl on youtube because she is desperate for money. replygirl just posted a video that she needed help and even showed her youtube trouble money statistics.

I think a big key to look out for is the grammar. It instantly shoots down any professionalism they were aiming for.

I agree with this sentiment. Those errors were atrocious, especially the spelling.
