So what have you guys been watching lately?
Re: So what have you guys been watching lately?
Anyone want to spoiler the last episode of the Office (USA) for me? Haven't watched that show since Pam had a baby.

What a great show, you know? I watch this yearly, and listen to Pale Blue Dot periodically. If there is anyone deserving to have a religion in their name, it's Carl Sagan.Pulsar_t wrote:

True story: My wife used to sell Girl Scout cookies to Carl Sagan. When she was in 6th grade or so, he wrote a recommendation letter for her to Space Camp (she got in, of course).

My wife and I are re-watching Arrested Development in preparation of the new season. Fingers crossed that it will be just as good!

Seriously? If so, that is probably the coolest thing I've ever read on this forum. How do you even tell that story nonchalantly?dsheinem wrote: True story: My wife used to sell Girl Scout cookies to Carl Sagan. "Hey look! A commercial for Space Camp! I went there."
'No way! Going to Space Camp is every kids dream.'
"Well, it did feel like a dream come true. Luckily Carl Sagan wrote me a letter of recommendation."

Yup, it is true. Her mom worked in a lab on Cornell's campus and she used to sell cookies to folks nearby, including Carl.Luke wrote:Seriously? Just watched the Rules Of Engagement series finale. It was a good ending for a show that flew under the radar for so many years. For those who care, spoilers follow:
There were a lot of great actors on that show and I have no doubt they'll land on their feet.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.
