That was kind of an ass thing to say, chief. I may not care for My Little Pony, but that's no reason to react like this to Retrodude.REPO Man wrote:Mega WHO CARES? Sorry, but just something about MLP that just irritates me. I don't know what it is. But when I think of grown men obsessed with it, I just kinda lose it. I could understand Sailor Moon or Powerpuff Girls or Jem, since they at least TRY, albeit to varying degrees and with various methods, to appeal to individuals outside of their target audience.Ack wrote:That was kind of an ass thing to say, chief. Jem doesnt really try at all. I recently watched the run of the show with my wife, it was her favorite show growing up, and it really does not try to appeal to guys at all.REPO Man wrote:I could understand Sailor Moon or Powerpuff Girls or Jem, since they at least TRY, albeit to varying degrees and with various methods, to appeal to individuals outside of their target audience.

LOL Yup. I knew what that was before I clicked the link. They used to do such great promos back in the day. What happened?AppleQueso wrote:Luke wrote:They aren't called The Powderpuff Girls?

Exactly. But there's nothing wrong with enjoying a "girls' show". Good cartoons are good cartoons no matter what show it is and MLP just happens to be one of my current favorites.fastbilly1 wrote:Jem doesnt really try at all. I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Grown men watching cartoons? Yikes.
