Frown: Here's a piece of advice. Never, ever try to even out your sideburns while in the shower, without a mirror. You will end up with super uneven sideburns and a bloody ear.

 I feel your pain on the general principle though. Had an old guy try to get into my shop at 8.45 the other day, when he couldn't get the door open he just stood there staring at me and co-workers for 15 minutes straight, as if to be intimidating.
Turned out we didn't even stock what he was after.

When I worked at Staples, every Sunday morning the geriatrics started lining up half an hour before the place opened. Some would knock on the windows and shit. Drove me crazy.

Oh man I don't know how you do it. I'd be panicking if someone asked me to speak in public.
Aren't you a teacher?

Mega WHO CARES? Call me when something that DOESN'T make the Powerpuff Girls look like Rambo gets a big-screen adaptation. Unless it's Hamtaro, cuz hamsters are adorable and totes trump plastic girly horse statues.

My wife has been state teacher of the year, has lectured at UNC, and is her school go to rep. Speaking to a crowd of friends and family isn't her thing. It's an "out of your element" thing for some people when it comes to private speeches.

I'm always out of my element, so I'm not bad at public or private speeches.

There is "doing your job" and then there is "trying to please a crowd". Big, big difference.
