I'm a little out of touch with new releases, and just learned about this game on Facebook earlier today. ZOMG I AM SO EXCITED. I saw the .hack// characters and was so confused at first. I don't think I'm going to end up pre-ordering, but this is going on my definitely on my list.

:D
Despite the fact that I hate when other people making "Wanted" ads on Craigslist for games, I thought I'd give it a shot today. I made it as simple as possible and simply stated that I was willing to buy old games if people are willing to sell them. It's already looking like it may pay off, and I'm super excited about this transaction coming up. I hope this goes through...

:(
My daughter is still not feeling well, and everybody at work seems to be getting sick. Vacation is just around the corner, so I can't afford to miss anymore days.

You may want to consider pre ordering. I think the first batch comes with an audio disc.

Mega Smile: There's a My Little Pony movie coming to theaters in June! :D

I've been saying for years they should release stuff like this on the big screen instead of wasting it on a direct to video release, so it's good to see that someone finally is, and for a show I actually watch to boot. I know this is a long shot, but I'm hoping this will make enough money that the other studios might take notice and start doing the same with their cartoons (a Johnny Test movie would be great). Fingers crossed.

Smile: Finished writing my speeches for my bro-in-laws wedding. Some people don't like speaking in public, I relish it. I also helped my wife with her speech, which is a tear jerker. The great thing about rehearsal dinner speeches is that unlike the wedding, you can give the Groom tons of recognition.

Frown: Said Groom still hasn't contacted me concerning his bachelor party, which he wants me to plan, and a bachelor party I do not plan on attending. Here's the Groom's party that I know of: His Dad, me, his friend Nate (who already said he won't attend a bachelor party that involves booze or chicks) and his soon to be wife's brother. So that basically leaves a party of one.

It's less than a month away from the wedding, so if he doesn't give me a call soon he might not even have a bachelor party.

*I have emailed and left voice messages with him.

Oh man I don't know how you do it. I'd be panicking if someone asked me to speak in public.

I use to be that way, but now I have spoken to groups as big as 20,000 without much hesitation. I actually do not write much of anything beforehand. While driving to and from work I will work out a couple things I want to bring up, but thats it. For me, if I write it down I have to be able to read it, which is always a problem (I have very poor lowlight vision when wearing my contacts). Actually I have to give a speech this weekend and have not thought of anything yet.

I love making toasts and speeches, especially at weddings. By far it is the easiest crowd to get big laughs out of (sure is a hell of a lot easier than stand up comedy). I'm also usually the first one to speak as it breaks the ice for those who are nervous about their speech.

I wing it a bit like billy, but I always have jokes and a few stories to tell. If I don't get the bride and groom to laugh and cry, I didn't do my job.

My favorite way to open the floor for speeches is to introduce myself (as I usually don't know 90% of the people attending, same case in my own wedding) and then get direct attention from the Bride and Groom, and make those fuckers panic for a minute and redirect that panic to laughter so everyone feels calm.

Works every time.

Irritated: We open at 9AM. There's a huge sign outside our door that says HOURS: 9AM - 4PM. It's currently 8:54AM.

There's an idiot trying to pry open the door and can't figure out why it doesn't open.

At my rehearsal dinner I was the last one to speak and still introduced myself, it usually get a good laugh. I have a good friend of mine from college getting married this October and I am rolling ideas about it now.

Actually my favorite rehearsal dinner/wedding story I ever told was at one of my little cousins. Is wife is an only child and immigrated to the US when she was a kid and had very few friends in college (they actually got married in college), so the rehearsal was my extended family (60ish), her family of three, and five of her friends. After his brother spoke, and no one else was going to, I got up there and made up some stupid story about how when we were hunting for Dinosaurs in the Amazon he use to regale the men with stories of his fiances beauty.
