I covered my Japanese Maple with two blankets and it still got fried. One of the blankets blew off in the middle of the night unfortunately. Lilacs survived though.

I would hope so. I've only eaten at one, so my experience with them is limited to say the least. The Parker's in my area may as well be a K&W cafeteria. Full of old people and old food.

That stinks. I adore a nice Japanese Maple. Beautiful plants they are.

:? My IPhone 5 headphones are breaking. One earbud only works and the other doesn't exactly work.(volume control, right one) I have to pull down on the mic/volume thing every now and then (the entire thing, not volume) making me believe there is something wrong with the wiring. Is there any way to save these headphones?

:D Got something I genuinely needed for my room. I won't say what it is because it's none of your business. I will say that it and another item, which is much more expensive, will be necessary for me to finally sleep in my own room instead of on the couch.

 Mom's got seven days before Vista Del Lago is sending her out.

:) But she's already got alternate living arrangements. She'll be living with a coworker and it'll only cost her $60/week. But pretty much she'll only be sleeping there, since she's not allowed to sleep in the house anymore. Basically, once bedtime rolls around, she's gotta go to her apartment.

 It's been a while now since my brother's ex-girlfriend left Orlando and went back to the Outer Banks. I won't go into details, but basically the only reason we came down here was because my brother's eldest daughter (who turns three this August) lived down here and it'd make visitation easier (the deal is he gets her for one week and then she goes back to her mom's for two more weeks, and so on).

:) We're also a bit closer to getting that van. They only wanted $600 from us before it's ours, and IIRC we were already about a third of the way here. Now, we're just a bit closer.

 Shocked that Resident Evil: Revelations actually runs on my low-end laptop. So far, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Miner Wars and Sonic Generations are the only games I've had issues with running at all. Some others would only run after some varying levels of tweaking.

Registered my WiiU through the seemingly fruitless club nintendo program....filling out the survey it asked if I knew about the rewards program I was enrolled in for purchasing the system.

noooooooo I wasn't. Check and find out I have an extra $10 credit I earned through the eShop. SCORE! Now if only there was something worth buying that I don't already have.

Super Metroid is 30c on the eShop right now. So there's that.

After bringing down the rest of my shed we put the kids down to bed. Then I took a shower and climbed into bed. It's a nice night so the windows are open...and I hear this sound - sounds like a basketball bouncing, but there's no one around us and the kids are in bed, so...i'm sorta freaked out. Look out the window and...:
My daughter had sneaked out while I was showering and was shooting some baskets at dusk. Impossible to be upset about that :)

Everyone keeps asking me why I'm covered in scratches. Well let me tell you this girl is crazy. All day she's been grabbing me and humping me. Her nails are just so long and it really hurts.
