EA can't do much worse. When were the last good Star Wars games? Jedi Academy 2 and KOTOR. So it's been 10 years since a worthwhile Star Wars game. There's nowhere to go but up.

I'm not really excited about EA doing the Star Wars games, but it'd be nice to have BioWare make more Star Wars games and a Battlefront game developed by DICE might be good.

I could see EA/BioWare developing a ME-style SW game.

Imagine being able to hop into the Millenium Falcon and explore the great worlds of the Star Wars universe. All I can say to that is hell yes!

Plus, they couldn't have set the bar any lower than Kinect Star Wars. I say give 'em a chance. Heck, give 'em a few. It's not like we have any frame of reference from this millenium.

EA and DICE are opening a new stadium in LA to work on only Star Wars games.

I read that a little bit ago and I'm not sure if this'll turn out to be good or bad. Having EA create an entire studio devoted Star Wars games could show that they're devoted to the franchise. On the other hand, there's nothing that says this studio won't just churn out half-assed Star Wars titles for a quick buck.

EA more or less has one or more dedicated studios to all their recurring IPs, I don't see how a new studio being formed exclusively for Star Wars games is any different from the usual for them.
