Which would still be a lot... if anyone used their Wii. I would bet that a lot more 360s and PS3s actually get used. At least in the US. Cannot speak for elsewhere. That is not to say that the Wii is not a very good console. :)
True, most people I know that got a Wii, had it as purley a "Wii Sports Player" and nothing else. I would bet that even though the console out sold the other 2, game sales would be a different story.

Other than Wii Sports and a few other titles.. Attachment rates are much higher with the PS3 and Xbox 360.. And both HD twins are closing in on Wii's sales..

Wasn't Wii the number 1 Netflix streaming device for a few years?

The problem with "gets enough use" arguments is no console, in the mass market, actually gets used all that much outside of 1-3 games. The majority of use of current consoles is from the other things they can do. (BluRay, DVD, NetFlix, Hulu, etc)

The problem with a lot of these sorts of conversations is there's some assumption that people play games on these devices to begin with, in general. I don't really think that's the case, and it's not a Nintendo specific thing.

I use my PS3 mainly for anime. MP4 and I am trying out Crunchyroll. Other than that, the only game that has been in there the past 3 months is Project DIVA F.

I use my 360 for nothing lately. Shmups when I feel like it. But I've been mainly in an RPG and rhythm game mood.

Wii U for less than nothing. I have MH3U on it. That's it. I have only played that version once. Generally stick to the 3DS version.

That's the state of my home consoles. I bring my Vita and 3DS everywhere and use them daily. :)

Yeah. My 3DS gets at LEAST 30 minutes of use every day. I still want a Vita quite a bit.

I love my WiiU when I have something to play on it. But I do feel the regret many people do, such as right now, when I have nothing to play.

Part of what makes it so sad is I'm so confident in the potential awesome uses of the gamepad. There's just not a lot to use with it yet. That said, considering the turn-around Nintendo did with the 3DS. I'm pretty sure they can do that with the WiiU too.

This is also true. My friend who's a die hard 360 fan, who has at least 30 games for that system, displayed that perfectly to me. I asked him what he played on his 360 anymore since he hadn't said much about it. The answer I got was "Netflix". He hasn't actually played a game on it in months.

If you go by every game I've purchased for all my consoles the attach rate is HUGE. But I generally try to only keep games I will play for years to come.

That's why I only have 11 PS3 games. 8 360 games. 5 Wii games. 1 Wii U game. 7 Dreamcast games. 3 PS1 games. 6 Vita. 2 DS. 9 3DS. 11 PC doujin. Just counted everything. Of course, this only includes physical copies.

That 3DS selection is bound to fluctuate too as I haven't played some of those games yet. All my Vita games are keepers.

I can see how one can disappointed when there's not much to play. It's the people who get legitimately angry at it that make me laugh. When you decide to become an early adopter then this is what you have to deal with. Remember "PS3 has no gaems"? Or the "3DS is doomed"?

And yeah, my brother hardly ever plays games on hisPS3 any more, mostly Netflix. When he does actually play something it's just CoD. =(

So the Resident Evil Revelations demo is up. I have it downloading in standby mode now for some play this afternoon. I'll probably buy the PC version if I do buy and play through it again.

I'm still not so sure.
Total Wii games sold as of March 31, 2013: 869.06 million.
Total PS3 games sold as of March 31, 2012: 595 million.
Total Xbox 360 games sold as of December 2009: 353.8 million.
I pulled these numbers from Wikipedia, but I don't know the accuracy of them. Even doubling 360 numbers, Wii still comes out ahead.
