Just started the final season (6) of Oz. I haven't made much progress but I'm finally in the home stretch.
I'm thinking of switching to Curb Your Enthusiasm next. I watched the first 4-5 seasons years ago and thought the first few seasons were great but season 4 and/or 5 (can't remember) were bad. In another forum, someone said that seasons 6-8 were great.
So what have you guys been watching lately?

I started watching Queer As Folk and I'm genuinely surprised by how good the story is so far and impressed that they resisted the temptation to throw in random gratuitous sex scenes just because they could (there are sex scenes, but they're tastefully done and actually have some relation to the plot). Bravo, Showtime!

So I have to say, with Once Upon a Time, the Once Upon a Time Alice in Wonderland spinoff, and Joss Whedon's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show, ABC is becoming a must watch channel for me. Between them and the CW (Nikita, Arrow, Supernatural) I'm really enjoying me some good network TV.

For sure, dude. I've always been a huge Disney fan and for the last 12 years or so, I've lamented the fact that their TV output has largely been terrible (compared to the early 90s when they had a whole string of great shows). If this is Disney's way of proving they can still do great television when they want to, I'd say they're succeeding spectacularly. All we need now is a proper revival of The Wonderful World Of Disney (with original content instead of just reruns of old movies) hosted by John Lasseter. That would actually be a great way to spotlight some of Marvel's C and D-list heroes as well as Star Wars spinoffs that have little to no relation to the series' main storyline. They could also get back in the habit of producing behind the scenes specials to promote their upcoming movies. Come on. ABC! Get with it!

I enjoyed some of that show, but I found myself annoyed by just how much of an ass Brian Kinney is. He pissed me off all the time and I wanted to quit watching. I am totally jealous of his apartment though. I installed lights under one of the beds in my house because I like the look so much.

Yeah, Brian is kind of a jerk, but I'm assuming he'll grow out of it by the end of the series. Then again, it would be just as believable if he didn't because that's just how some people are. Either they never realize how big a jerk they are, or they do realize and decide they don't care. It is annoying, but what are ya gonna do?

Not sure how many of you watch Supernatural, I feel like the show has its ups and downs since season 5 ended, but they had a pretty brilliant twist this past episode that I haven't seen a show do before.
Yeah, I like where things are going at the moment with Disney and ABC. The Disneyland commercial with Regina was cool. There's something about that commercial and Once Upon a Time in general that brings out a certain nostalgia in me. The way OUAT uses all these classic Disney movies and characters evokes a feeling probably similar to how a lot gamers felt the first time they played Kingdom Hearts. The season finale of Once Upon a Time put a really nice twist on an established Disney and fairy tale character that has me excited for next season.

Check this crazy stuff out:

A ruse? Probably. Entertaining? Definitely.
My pitch to Andy Ricthman and the Travel Channel for a new show: MAN VS. BOOZE, starring yours truly. It's basically Bourdain's NO RESERVATIONS but with booze sponsers.

I watched the episode when it aired, as I'm a pretty big fan of Ramsay stuff. That woman was nuts, felt bad for her staff.
