Re: Playstation Vita thread
I don't think my wal mart has a game newer then gravity rush for the Vita. Not saying that walmart has the best selection of games, but that can't be a good sign. I really want for the console to do well. I just get the vibe that Sony really doesn't care about the console at all. I am looking forward to Muramasa and y's though.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
I've been considering pulling the trigger on the Vita for a while now but have been waiting around for a pricedrop and a deal on a bundle with a higher capacity memory stick. That propriety memory has been a real sore point with me as I have a few perfectly usable 32GB micro SD cards and I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to use them other than Sony being Sony.
Been looking at Gravity Rush and the upcoming Muramasa port with it's nice new translation as well as future Ys games. I already snagged Project Diva f on the PS3 and don't think I would buy it all over again for the Vita since I prefer a console version whenever possible. If this thing had a new Monster Hunter game in the pipeline I would probably go for it without any further hesitation.
Does anything think a pricedrop might be coming sometime? I see so little news about the Vita anymore, seems like not many people find it worth discussing where I normally go for news.

E3 is right around the corner. That's what I'm waiting for.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
It might be worth waiting until E3 to see if they announce price drops. I only got mine because of the black friday deal ($180 shipped for a white Vita, game, and 4 gig stick) and the Ys localization announcement. It's a great system, it just needs more time and it'll probably be one of the go-to systems for JRPG's.
As far as MH, you can download the PSP game (I think Freedom Unite or whatever the last one was) off of PSN and map the right analog stick for the camera.

If that happens I'll be getting one for sure.

Oh really now? That would be a pretty big boost, I love Freedom Unite, but doing the claw grip killed me after a while, it just never got comfortable to me.
I'm assuming the same could be done for Portable 3rd if I got another stick for a JP account?
Gonna cross my fingers and hope Sony pulls through for E3 then.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Yeah, I've decided I'm gonna get a Vita eventually. Just really want to wait for a price drop, since I would feel much more comfortable buying it for $200 or under. Also I just bought a 3DS, so I don't need another system anytime soon.
And does anyone know if they've got some third party memory sticks yet?

I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Feel like I'm in the same position as you.
Price drop plus some new exclusive games will get me to purchase one.

Being the impatient man I am, I caved. I just bought a used Vita CIB with an 8gb memory stick. Only cost me $150.
Can't wait!

That's a really good deal!
I just downloaded Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, which is a simple but deep battle card game and is really fun actually! $4.99 so its dirt cheap too.

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
