What are you basing the prices off of? I use the price list they have on Neo-Geo.com at the moment, and it's nice, but you might as well throw it out the window once you get off that forum (and in a lot of cases on it). I'd be more than willing to contribute to an updated one. If you need any help looking stuff up, just let me know.

The following is based solely on recent eBay Completed's
The price list on NG is:

If you want to help me update, keep an eye out for completed auctions of complete copies of US games that I don't have prices listed for yet.
Yeah, mostly neo/shmups/KLOV forum sales and then legit ebay completeds (ignoring ones that don't appear to be on the level, or ones that were just listed buy now and way too low so sold within minutes of being listed). Only looking for CIB sales, legit carts, good or better condition. Ideally the guide is a guide and you might pay less for an incomplete copy, or copy that is in gamers condition, and you might expect to pay more for an uber-minty copy, etc.
As mentioned a couple days ago - i've been working on a personal AES list since I started in on collecting. Since there was nothing else out there I could find - I wanted to do some research and figure out market - particularly when considering region, 1st/2nd print, and box/case variants. The list is not complete, but is getting close to having a baseline for each game. Some variants still need to be separated from the more common release.
Here is the guide (i'll link the MVS guide, noise's NGPC US-CIB guide, and this guide int he OP):
-This is not an authority, but rather a guide
-A guide should be used to provide a general price baseline
-Condition / Completeness and number of items on the current market may tilt numbers up or down
-Prices are based on an average of sales
-Games w/o an accurate baseline are listed currently as NA
-Not all box and print variants are accounted for - buy wisely
-I've notated many games commonly converted - as a general rule, any game with a value of $300+ drastically increases the likelihood of conversion or bootleg - please do research to help you spot the signs, where possible
-Sales/Listings were observed on Neo Geo, Shmups and to lesser extent - NA/KLOV/Racketboy Forums as well as ebay US and UK. Ebay France was also used but only as last resort as prices and sales seem to be quite a bit higher than US sales and this is intended as a North American buyer's guide. Minimal, but some, research was done on yahoo japan.
-Current prices are based on sales from 3.28.13--->5.12.13 (will update as needed)
AES PRICE GUIDE - All listings assume CIB and good or better condition
Metal Slug Note: Metal Slug sales are limited and conversions are common amongst all releases, particularly 1 and 2. Prices on these can vary drastically (both higher and lower) depending on condition and if a cart is believed 100% authentic.
