All this talk about a shmup called Dux 1.5 and I keep thinking "is that a sequel to Sega's Dynamite Dux"

 Road Redemption made their funding goal! Hell yeah!

I'm stuck in SMT: Strange Journey in sector Bootes.
So I need to get to Mita and crack his skull, but I can't figure out how to get to him. I have both elevators activated and most of the map explored afaik

Is it difficult to get The Longest Journey and Dreamfall to run on a Windows 7 64-bit PC? I'm tempted by the offer on GOG, but I'd rather have the original boxed copy if possible, and the price is similar.

Video game characters that wear sunglasses are usually d-bags.

Oh, I've dealt it. And smelt it.

But when you think about it, Cool Spot included, sunglasses were/are mostly used as trying to make video game characters "edgy and cool".

The guy from Golgo 13 might be the only exception.

I keep trying to think of counter examples, but every one I can think of at best makes being a d-bad kinda endearing.

Duke Nukem? Total d-bag. Johnny Cage? d-bag.

Oh, I know. Auron. Say what you will about FFX, but Auron was just cool. So what if some of his design makes no sense? It's a Nomura design, this is about the closest thing to "normal" the guy is capable of.

But Cool Spot was a fun game, and good platformer. I mean, it's not Mario or Sonic, but it was still fun.

Oh, and Nathan "Rad" Spencer on Bionic Commando. Pure 80s bad-assness, with sunglasses.
