If it was 1998 I'd say "I just threw up in my mouth a little". Since it isn't, I'll just barf instead.

Honestly, I would not be surprised if she went that route.

With all those hieroglyphs of cats, do you think the Egyptians knew that YouTube was coming?

I've had a few nightmares where the fear fades and is oddly replaced by anger. There's been some occasions where I've directly attacked whatever is bothering me in my dream.

I had one of these the other night. Sort of.

I only remember the end, but I found myself frozen in place and unable to move at all. I was just trying my hardest to scream (which was what woke me up eventually).

So I was staring right at this thing causing the nightmare, and I was mad. I wanted to go after it, hurt it, but I was completely stuck.

But ever so slowly, I put up first one, and then both middle fingers.

I couldn't attack it, but I could be antagonistic and spiteful. And petty.

I really thought it was funny after I woke up and relaxed.

My most recent nightmare/terror:
I would wake up and go about my day, then realize I was dreaming later on. Then I would wake up and go about my day. This happened quite a few time before I realized it was happening repeatedly.
Eventually, I tried to wake myself up. I thought I was able to open my eyes and look around the room, but my body wouldn't move. I tried screaming, but couldn't at first. I'm not sure if I was screaming or moving in real life or not, but I know I was trying as hard as I could while I was dreaming. Eventually I tried to dream again and started making weird shit happen in my dream. This made it feel more like a dream than it was real and caused me to slowly wake up.

I was in shock for half the day. I kept touching things, and doing things to make sure it was all real. Kinda freaks me out sometimes thinking about how real it felt.

I used to get these all the time when I was a kid. Growing up, I'd normally slide my hand against the walls or lockers at school to make sure I could touch them. For some reason, when I did this in the dream it didn't feel the same. I'm not sure what's different, but I could always tell if I was awake or dreaming by doing this. After some time, I "grew out of it", I guess. Now it only happens maybe once a year or so.

I aquired my handgun carry permit! Now my mother can stop bitching at me to get one. With me owning several handguns its probably best that I got one anyway. I'm not sure why, but the first time I applied I was denied. It apparently happens allot but the thing that sucks is I lost 115$ when I was denied. The permit fee is non refundable apparently.

Yes. For some reason they are termed "Handgun Carry permits" in TN.

Congrats! Did they ever tell you why you were denied at first?

Either way, it's a smart thing to have if you own sidearms but prepare for any routine traffic stop to take a bit longer now that you have the permit.

Yeah I expected that. My mother has had a permit for 20 years now so I'm used to it. It's a long story that took a damn long time to sort out. The TN department of safety apparently is run by morons.
