Damn, I better get my Demon Front, Martial Master, Gladiator and Killing Blade carts before they are all gone.

Man I really need to get me a PGM board, maybe next year. While those conversions are cool I really don't see the need for them. Maybe in the future people will be converting them back to their original forms.

A few questions, could you convert PGM games to other PGM games? Will this get to be like the MVS bootleg market? Is this the same guy that makes the Ikaruga cart for the Naomi? I do see a little bit of a plus from cutting out the GD Rom drive in that one.

Same guy, yes.

You could convert them back by removing the jumpers and reflashing the roms - but i'd honestly never see that happening.

I imagine there may be a slight bump in the price of the boards most likely to be donors. KoV SH Plus and Killing Blade, but not too significant - PGM is a niche in a niche.

Assuming it's possible - not sure, but for the work involved it wouldn't be cost prohibitive to turn one readily available game into another readily available game (meaning a Photo Y2K into a Demon Front) because you're talking about putting time and work to make a $25 game an $80 game - just not enough profit to warrant the work. Whereas a $60 KoV SH Plus can become a $200 DDP DOJ BL

Nice job on the Gameboy. Was the screen cover in decent condition, or do they make replacement ones with the black borders, or is the color underneath the clear plastic? I've never replaced those before.

It's got some wear and tear. When you hold it against the light you can see circular stripes around the place where the light source reflects. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it does look kinda nasty. Fortunately you can replace them. Just like the regular replacement screens you can buy the darker Play It Loud! versions too. On eBay you can find them for just a few bucks shipped... ^^

The plastic underneath the screen is the same color as the rest of the case. In this case -no pun intended- white...

Very cool, never seen that color before. I'm still trying to hunt down a transparent one for a decent price.

As for my finds... it was an expensive week but I managed to find quite a few items that filled a lot of holes in my want list:

Battle Squadron - $4
Ogre Battle 64 (CIB) - $35
Contra Force - $40
Giga Wing (complete) - $8
Mega Man 7 - Part of a Trade
R-Type 3 box, Bio Metal box / Manual, Earth Defence Force Box, Imperium Manual and Super Nova manual - $10
Sonic Jam (complete) - Part of a Trade

Previous Week:

Kid Icarus: Uprising (sealed, box version) - $28, and it was buy 1 get 1 free at a local game store so got Mario Kart 7 for free. :)

picked up a weird bag of stuff at a garage sale today:

GBA:
Pokemon FireRed (x2)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team
Pokemon Video: I Choose You!
Bionicle
Frogger's Adventures

DS:
Pokemon HeartGold
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2
Metroid Prime Hunters First Hunt

GC:
Spongebob Squarepants in Battle For Bikini Bottom (CIB)

Xbox 360:
Crysis 2 (CIB)
Madden 12 (CIB)

all for $22.

also walked up to another sale and asked two ladies (i think a mother and daughter) if they had any video games, and the older lady started to tear up and had to go inside. the younger lady said "i'm sorry, we do, we just didn't put them out. my brother passed away not too long ago and we haven't quite got through his things yet. let me take your name and number..."

i felt kinda bad but tried to be as respectful as possible. i thanked them both for their time and told them no rush or obligation to call whatsoever. :(
