Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I have been working late a lot recently; so, I decided to stop by some pawn shops on my way into the office this morning. I am glad that I did, because I picked up:
RPG Maker 3 (PS2; CIB) - $3
SOCOM 3 (PS2; CIB) - $1
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (WII; CIB) - $6
Ultimate Spider Man (XBOX; CIB) - $1
I am pleased...

Per the toy box it was named - Krang's Android Bodygod wrote:Hahaha yeah I was thinking that too. Did the robot thing have a name?
It was one of those toys we only knew one person had, and he never let us touch it...But my little brother is the big TMNT fan, not me. Granted I dont think he has one of them yet.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I won an auction on a model 2 genesis lot for what I'll say was pretty cheap. The controller that was with it looked like it might be one of the ball-bearing d-pad controllers because of the texturing, and I figured I'd hold onto the boxed Gadget Twin with it. Turns out the controller was not the one I was hoping it would be, and Gadget Twin's case and label are pretty junked up. However, the model 2 Genesis turned out to be a 3/4 board model in incredible condition. (Probably because of the bag that came with the lot.) So now I'm wrestling with whether to hold onto my childhood Genesis, or this 3/4 board one--.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
^I meant to add a longer post to my PGM thread, but...fell asleep. I'll add something tonight.
It's a conversion, but runs on all original PGM hardware and chips. By running a few jumpers on a Knights of Valour Super Heroes board and reprogramming a couple of the eproms you can make a DDP DOJ. KoV Super Heroes is the only viable donor board.
For EspGaluda and Ketsui they are compatible with:-Knight Of Valour 2-Demon Front-Dodonpachi 2 Bee Storm-Martial Master-Gladiator-Killing Blade.
This is part of the concern - while many are glad to save 1/2 the price of the PCB by getting the PGM1 cart (which plays of course identical to the PCB...same original hardware) you are sacrificing a PGM game. If, it were say a cheap (boring?) game like Dragon World or Photo Y2K, i'm sure there would be less frustration - but the games that must be sacrificed are all really good games. Again, i'll be posting much more in my other thread later tonight.

Please do. I never gave the PGM a good shake until you started posting your love for it.mjmjr25 wrote:Again, i'll be posting much more in my other thread later tonight.

Paid €34 for this beauty...
Already cleaned it, and had to replace all the innards. Like everything. The screen had inky veins in the top right corner, the speaker was broken, and the battery contacts were corroded. None of these things were mentioned by the seller. Still, good thing she didn't know what she was selling. And a good thing I had a regular Game Boy I could scavenge...
For those who don't know, the white Game Boy is the rarest of the Play It Loud! series and near impossible to find...
