Sega card drive?

Sega card drive?

Yeah,

I was just at a sort of flea market n i found this sega card drive game... Its called power tennis...

Can anyone school me on this? Is it worth anything? What system is it for?

The SMS has games that come in cards, I think this is the game you saw. They come in slimmer cases and only a few were released that way, there's another thread that has a list but they are less than 10. They aren't uncommon or pricey, the only fun one I have is Trans-Bot, there's also Spy vs Spy but I think the NES version plays better.

On a Sega Master System, the slot is on the front of the console below the cartridge port.

And remember if you have the Master System 2 (redesign) you can't play them at all. They removed the card slot. Tells you how great those card games were.

Wasn't the card slot also used for the 3D glasses in one of the games?

yes indeed it was.

The slot was a there to provide backwards compatibilty with the SG1000, which is why the games on the cards were a bit on the crap side.

A quick look on ebay shows that while they are quite rare in the UK (I only ever saw one once) and the price is high (£10-15 in a box) but no one is really buying them.
