Bucky O'Hare doesn't need a reboot, it needs an ending. Wasn't it canceled and ended in a cliffhanger or something?

I loved how even as a 13 or so year old kid, I noticed that Bucky O'Hare wasn't your run-of-the-mill cartoon. The gorilla dies at the beginning, but they say he 'became one with the universe'. THE GUY DIED.

In a cartoon show! I just liked how it was goofy because of the Toads and all of the in-jokes and puns, but within the show's universe it was like REAL SHIT was happening. Violent stuff. Planet Warren is destroyed, etc.

The Critic and MST3k are the only two I can think of that I would want to come back.

I'd love more episodes of Clerks: the animated series.
They were going to do an animated film, but it was canceled.

Also, Party Down could've kept going.

...& It's already been said, but MST3K. Forever.

Oh, yeah. And I'd love some new episodes of Trailer Park Boys
I hear they are making another film, though...

You know there's like, a hundred other kids show where characters die, right?
Insert clever quote here.

Rifftrax is pretty close, and they can do bigger movies if they want. They've got a few of 'em on Hulu as well.

Other cast members do Cinematic Titanic as well.

The exact format of the show isn't quite there, but the modern incarnations, such as they are, seem more sustainable - rather than getting locked into relicensing films, needing to cut things to fit for time, and so on.

It stinks.

Man do I miss that show. Television needs some more Jon Lovitz.

Both are good fun, I own about 50 Rifftraxs, but its not the same thing. MST3k was best when they had the bottom of the barrel films, and since Rifftraxs covers good films aswell it is just not the same. I am tempted to create a video layer of Mike, Crow, and Tom, and have them move while they talk.

Man, I loved that show so much...If I could travel back in time, I would change my user name from the unwieldy "prfsnl_gmr" to "Zap Rowsdower" in an instant.

(There are a lot of other things I would do too, and changing my racketboy user name probably would not be a priority if I could travel through time...I would get to it eventually, however.)

They've done a fair number of terrible movies now too. Usually that they actually license for streaming or download.

I tend to appreciate the newer/better movies though. Many of the bad movies aren't just terrible writing/acting, but subpar cinematography, audio, and so on as well. Which, to me at least, can make them harder to actually watch, jokes or not. As much as I like the show, it wasn't exactly uncommon that the middle or end of the movies they did really started to drag. I find that less of an issue when they're joking on better films that were at least made well.

Main thing I miss from the show proper are the non-movie segments.

Fair enough. I can see your point and agree that they did start to drag. I too miss the nonmovie segments, but that is not something a group of fans can easily do. Adding the heads at the bottom is easy enough if you can get ahold of the puppets - Servo goes for about $200 in part form and $300 complete, Crow goes for alot more. Or if you have the dvds and are really good at matting.
