Agreed. That is not something you can copyright, patent, trademark, etc.; so, I would ignore that loser.Hobie-wan wrote:FTFYfastbilly1 wrote: Ticked Laughed - I had someone email me about how I stole his idea for the Five Tv Four Swords setup and demanded that we take down the article and video.

I seem to remember playing that setup with you back in 2008...but you had been talking about it since at least 2006.

Emails like these are why I stopped doing frontpage articles. No matter how noncontroversial the article is people like to ding them for stupid reasons. Hell I got a death threat for the "What is the NES Select Button for" piece. I wont be removing them, since the guy is an idiot, but it irks me something fierce.

What on earth could you have said about the select button that could be so offensive?

I think it was the widely known fact that pressing the "select" button with your left thumb is not as easy as the threatener's mother...AppleQueso wrote: What on earth could you have said about the select button that could be so offensive?

Does it matter? Every article inevitably catches something. I had a guy criticize me once for saying many early modern FPS like Doom had an X and Y but no Z-axis. The complaint wasn't based on Doom's use of visual tricks to convey multiple heights which don't actually exist in the game. It was based on how to orient a graph.AppleQueso wrote:A death threat? That guy was bitching about us calling Forsaken a Z axis shooter. He said all FPS titles have Z axis since thats how they move in a 3d plane.Ack wrote:Does it matter?
