This has shaken me up alot more than I thought it would. He inspired alot of my imagination as a child and as a film fan.

This remains one of the greatest scenes in film history. All done because of this man. RIP

Acting in special effect scenes most have been something weird back then as it wasn't common practice.

"In this scene you fight a barrage skeletons"

'Um. That's not in the script'

"You don't actually fight skeletons"

'So er, what do I do?/

"You're an actor right? I don't know, just swing your sword and jump around and shit like that. Maybe throw in some random kicks. Play make-believe, we'll add the skeletons in post-pro"

'I'm going to look silly, aren't I?'

"Very silly. But the skeletons will look so bad ass that they will inspire countless writers, directors, and even video game companies and this scene will be treasured for centuries"

'So where should I wave my sword?'
