I need to play the Genesis one sometime.

I have them both (all three if you count the recent Xbox360 version) and I must say, the SNES version is my favorite. But I would recommend the Genesis version as well. Fun and just as quirky.

Actually, I've read that the Mega CD Shadowrun is quite good. It fetches a higher price than most Mega CD games. Programmed by Compile of Puyo Puyo fame, the game features anime-style graphics since it is based off of a Shadowrun manga. I'd really like to get it someday and it's a shame that it was never released in English. Yakumo spoke highly of it on his site.

Just found a cart only version of this at my local Game Xchange and picked it up. I see the SNES version all the time for ~$20 but never the Genesis version. I will eventually grab a CIB copy online somewhere to complete my Genesis collection but for now I am just happy to have a copy.

I'd love to do a Shadowrun film trilogy, with each film taking place in a different era in the universe. For example, the first film would be set in the 2050s, like in the original editions, the third film would be set in the 2070s, like in the newer editions, with the second being a transition between the two (i.e. showing how the technologies and society evolved from the '050s to '070s).

I saw this CIB at a game store near me with no price tag. I asked the guy how much and he said $5 would be fine. I got lucky. I played it though and really didn't get it. I found the Johnson guy and ended up escorting some scientist to some phone or something. On the way back though these thugs were shooting at me and when I tried to fight them I was extremely underpowered. I tried to do more missions but found them to be just impossible and half the time I would have no idea where I'm supposed to go.
