Pfft, Wilson over the fence or Margaret at the laundromat, those are the only reliable places to get news.

Smile: Looks like the trend of wearing huge over-sized sunglasses is finally waning. Thank the lord.

Smile: Had to run by campus today, and fortunately sun dresses are still in style. There is nothing quite like seeing a group of girls in sundresses walking to class with a spring in their step, the wind in their hair, and smiles on their pretty faces.

Felt like Thumper I did.

Smile: My uncle ended up with an extra ticket, so I get to go see the Blue Man Group tonight.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Smile: It's stormy! I love storms!

Frown: Broke up with my girlfriend today. No biggie but, we'd only been going out about a month, and neither of us could really see the relationship going anywhere.

Her credit's still shot and my brother and his girlfriend are apparently too young to sign the lease. My grandmother's name is also on there.

So then, besides showtunes and musical numbers, what kind of music do you like then?

If you can't dig "Suddenly Seymour" or Annie's "Tomorrow" you are missing out on a beautiful life.

I don't like "showtunes and musical numbers" in general. It has to appeal to me.

And the kind of music I like is the kind of music that just "clicks" with me. I mean, I could care less about the artist or even despise them (Ke$ha) but have at most one exception (Tik-Tok, which is apparently Ke$hian for "ear canal gonorrhea"). And sometimes I like a genre but certain artists don't click with me, or vice versa. I use to like boy bands and Britney Spears over 10 years ago, and now I'm ashamed of it (but not of my ovation-getting performance at a school lip-synch contest where I did BSB's "I Want it That Way", of which no video exists), but I will go on record that Britney Spears' "Stronger" is probably the definitive theme for the slasher film final girl. I kinda wanna do a music video on the idea.

Totally, and thanks for reminding me of TWO movies to share with my nieces, and eventually my future nephews (hint-hint, little bro and little bro's GF) and my children. As a little kid, yours truly loved Annie. And The Wizard of Oz, though it's not necessarily my fave Oz film anymore.

I know a guy that currently loves stuff by Britney Spears, Aguilera, Mandy Moore, etc. He's 36.

I like a couple of Kelly Clarkson songs because a couple of them actually are kind of rock oriented, plus shes from Texas and.. well... dat ass.

RE: Suddenly Seymour -

I love the scene when Rick Moranis and Ellen Greene are singing, and Jim Belushi shows up and says "IF YOU KIDS COULD STOP SINGING FOR ONE MINUTE I'VE GOT A PROPOSITION FOR YA!" (or something similar to that, its been a while since I watched it)
