You got me there.

Random Thought:

I wish grocery stores would treat their carts more like airports/mega malls treat rental cargo carts. Costs a buck to rent one, and you get your dollar back when you return the cart. Free carts for senior citizens and the handicapped, and the lazy assholes wouldn't mind paying a buck for not returning their cart.

As a kid my parents allowed me to run around the Mall or O-Hare to return cargo carts for cash for the arcade, and it was awesome. I couldn't believe that people would leave a cart stranded, knowing that they could get fifty cents if they simply returned it. I know it doesn't sound like much these days, but in 1987 $5.00 in quarters would last for hours in an arcade.

No, but I certainly know of their business. Do they rent carts?

I've been a shareholder in Alex Lee Inc. for several years so I'd say I do 90% of my grocery shopping at Lowe's Foods. Aldi is very impressive in numbers, and their overhead is as close to nil as a grocery business can get. Trader Joe's almost copied their business model verbatim, save for the fact Trader Joe's carries third party products and is a prettier store (plus it is "hip").

They just put up a Trader Joes near my work, I love it! I can't belive how cheap it is, great food for a bachelor haha just fancy microwave meals. I can get a weeks worth of groceries for $50. Alot of hipsters in there, but then again this is Milwaukee which is like Hipster central.

I didn't know the US didn't! So you can just take them for free and leave them anywhere since you don't need to get your money back?

If at first you don't succeed, you might be playing Super Meat Boy.

If you think 0.5€ prevents people from stealing carts, you are wrong

If you're playing Counter Strike, what do you do if a noob throws a pin at you?

Run away because he has a grenade in his mouth.
