What was the last movie you've seen?

I have all of our television shows saved to a hard drive. It's hard to find good old Sesame Street videos online. I wouldn't mind buying them if they didn't have DRM. I've already gotten burned with two Seasons of Sesame Street from Amazon that we can't watch.

Do you have Netflix streaming? It has both new Sesame Street episodes and "classic" ones from the '70s and '80s. Although my daughter only likes the new ones, they are a great way to distract a child for 45 minutes if you need to get something done around the house.

We don't, but I've been thinking about it lately. Thing is, I have just about every episode from almost every cartoon I grew up with (Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, etc). Finding educational stuff is the hard part. Guess Netflix is looking like my cheapest choice.

Always enjoy watching Shinya Tsukamoto films, and will probably end up up throwing in "The Adventures of Electric Rod Boy" too.

The only catch is, youtube is so here today gone tomorrow you need to find a program to save youtube videos to your hard drive if you find something you want to watch more than once.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

I was either going to watch ^ or DESPERADO on Cinco De Mayo. I made the wise choice.

Some complain the movie is too long, but the nearly three hours fly by for me. Such a wonderful film.

I went and saw Warm Bodies with the lady friend the other day.
Some of the acting was a bit sub-par, but overall it was an all right way to kill a Sunday night. Dunno if I would watch it again though.

Tokyo Fist is pretty good too. Bullet Ballet was a little slow to me though. Haven't seen A Snake in June or the one after that.

We watched Wreck it Ralph on Saturday night. Still one of my favorite new Disney Movies. The voice cast is perfect. Though I could have sworn that one of the Niceville people was Nathan Lane, when infact it was the Director, who also played Zangief.

We stopped by an old movie rental place, that has been in business since the late 60s, that was having a half off used Bluray deal. So we got Ralph, Skyfall, and Predator, for cheap. Skyfall and Predator were $4 each, and now I dont feel bad if they release a Skyfall version for Bond 50.

There's a couple of torrents out there with all of the Bill Nye episodes, as well as The Eyes of Nye. Eyes of Nye isn't as cool as Science Guy, but still pretty cool.

I'd buy the Bill Nye DVDs if they were available to the public. As far as I know, you can only buy them if you're a school, and you have to pay some ungodly amount for them.

Yep. The town they are in was a small farming town, so people would come and rent from them since they could not afford to buy. Their rental prices are something like $6 for two nights on new releases, and $3 for 5 days on older titles. And those prices have been that way since the 70s. As amazing as it is, the place was packed with people renting movies. Part of that is because netflix dvd service takes almost four days each way here.

Sounds like an awesome shop. I can't remember the last I rented a movie or game. Jeez, I believe the last movie I rented was Natural Born Killers back in 1998.
