What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
If I was looking to get in shape, I'm much rather just get P90X.
Heard from two people asking about my Craigslist ad (the copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii), though one of them is apparently 60 miles away. He asked me if I was near his area, and after a trip to Google Maps, found out the person's hometown is over an hour away. The other guy just asked me if I wanted just cash or if I was also interested in trades.

Crap, no tacos for me. I am sick to my stomach. That said, applesauce is relatively pleasant to vomit up.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Holy Shit.
So there's been a ton of stuff going on with me the past couple of months. Some good, some horrible. I haven't discussed it here, but I might soon.
One of the big ones (which is also one of the results of the thing that started all the trouble) is that I'm selling my house.
After a shit ton of work getting the house market ready, it was officially listed as of Friday. I've had three showings come in since then, two of them today.
The first of the two from today just made an offer of $1000 over our asking price. They already have their lender letter, earnest money, and the contract. They were ready to go and acted immediately. I'm talking 8 hours here.
Obviously its not sold yet, but still.
Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy, and I knew this place was a great value, but that is almost impossibly fast. I shouldn't be surprised, because houses I've looked into purchasing have been bought out from under me in a comparable amount of time, but I figured we'd be on the market for about a week at least.
Now I have to rush to find a new place.
Good problem to have I guess.
Wow.

Nice work! I heard that Denver is a great place to sell a home, and although you may be second-guessing your asking price, I think that the peace of mind you get from selling it probably outweighs any amount extra that you would have received by holding out.
